A large daytime parking area beside the road, with attractive views over the reservoir. It is suitable for stopping to enjoy the viewpoint or take a walk. Road noise can be noticeable, and the approach track is bumpy. The area may be windy and dirty.

Drove to a large area right by the road, with a nice viewpoint over the reservoir. I was not sure whether we would be moved on, as other reviews of nearby lay-bys said they had been asked to leave. So we went to the campsite, which had a space for the night.
The site is really nice for enjoying the view over the lake. Recommended.
Nice view over the lake, though it’s a little low currently. Right by a busy road so some noise. We stopped here to take a walk and eat lunch.
beautiful view and flat, but very very windy and dirty... also main road quite close.
as you have the resovior on your right just past the dam is a small turning very hard to see. the track is bumpy but worth it. be aware of dry conditions and fire risk
