A large parking area between a railway line and a street, close to the city centre. It is suitable for an overnight stop, and passing trains are generally not disturbing once everything is closed. The parking belongs to a school, so it is especially quiet on Sundays, while weekday use is limited. Access is possible for vehicles up to 8 m long, though there is no shade.

Although it is between the railway line and the street, it is very large, very quiet, and close to the center. It is a school parking lot, so there is nobody there on Sundays and on Mondays there are only nine teachers’ cars.
Rating 4 for the parking area; at the beginning of the year it was practically empty, with three motorhomes and nobody else. We only spent the night here without any problems and left in the morning.
Perfect for one night. When everything is closed, a passing train is not bothersome.
Apparently the next-best place to the city center. Even when we were there, there were many free parking spaces. A motorhome takes up two car spaces, but that does not seem to be a problem here. Access is apparently possible for vehicles up to 8 m long. Tip: go to the station, cross the bridge, and either walk to the nearby city center or take the free shuttle bus.
A great car park, almost empty when we were there at noon. No shade—it still has to grow. The access may be too narrow for large vehicles. Twenty minutes from the Moosbrunnen, and the soap museum is on the way.
