Very beautiful place to start a hike; overnight stays are forbidden! We spent a quiet night there. However, two park rangers came by the next morning and explained that staying overnight is forbidden because the place belongs to the national park and only parking, for example for hiking, is tolerated. Otherwise, the police may issue a corresponding fine.
Beautiful spot surrounded by vineyards. We spent a very pleasant and quiet night here. We first asked a passing lady, presumably because she owned part of the vineyards—she drove by several times a day—whether it was okay to spend the night, and she said it was no problem. At dusk there were many mosquitoes!
Not bad for an emergency overnight stop: quiet and fairly easy access, I suppose in good weather. However, below it there is stagnant, green, rather dirty water (August 25). No swimming and not suitable even for dipping the dog.
Beautiful place, but bivouacking is forbidden all year round, especially during fire season. Beware: the ONF regularly patrols here!
Beautiful and peaceful spot. We slept there for two nights, each time with another motorhome and lots of crickets.
Good spot. There were two of us, but it felt as if we were alone. View of the vineyards. I recommend it.
There were two of us, with enough distance for each person to have privacy in this very peaceful place! Magnificent sunset over the vineyards. We slept with the windows open to the sound of birds. I recommend this pitch.
Beautiful place! We stayed here for one night with our camper. The residents did not mind us staying here. The access road was no problem. It is a little rocky, but all the larger potholes have been filled with stones. The water spot below the camping area is wonderfully beautiful. The water seemed perfectly fine to us.
We spent one night with our van. Very quiet spot under the pine trees; don't hesitate to drive farther over the cobblestones to be well shaded in the morning! There is indeed a small water spot downhill, where the water is stagnant. We saw a car whose driver even greeted us, and only heard a tractor in the morning.
Great and quiet for one night. Vineyard and river nearby. Several possible spots.
It was a perfect place for a quiet night! Isolated from the road and next to the vineyards, it was very pleasant. In the morning, we saw a car and a truck pass along the track; they said nothing to us. Remember to leave the place clean. We picked up a few tissues and a bin had been hidden in a bush. It is a shame that people do not respect the site...
Quiet, good for one night.
A quiet place, perfect for spending the night among the vineyards. You can walk your dog. The only drawback is that there are many mosquitoes.
Nice place to stay. More difficult to access in the rain. A quiet environment, though. Clean up your rubbish, otherwise these places will soon be a thing of the past.
