6/A Via Sant'Antonio dell'Orto, 87100, Cosenza
Been here?
A large paved parking lot about 10 minutes’ walk from Cosenza’s historic centre. It offers plenty of space and nearby shops and food outlets, but has no water. The area can be noisy beside the road, although nights may become quieter after 22:00. Recent visitors found it deserted and did not feel comfortable staying.

Very deserted, spacious place. We had an uneasy feeling and drove on.
We did not feel comfortable spending the night here because it was very deserted. There were no other cars parked there, and the place did not inspire confidence.
Lots of space. Since we were alone, we left without visiting the town. The road to get there was terrible: fog and rain. No water.
Only because there is nothing else anywhere within 50 km! Absolutely avoid it if you are a woman alone and unaccompanied. Perhaps fine if you are a large, bearded man! My 24-year-old daughter narrowly escaped being raped after being aggressively propositioned and then groped by a sexually aggressive 55-year-old Italian while she was having lunch alone, hidden from everyone's view behind the truck.
We slept here for one night. Ten minutes on foot from Cosenza's old town. The place is definitely recommendable, totally fine.
We spent a quiet night here from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Otherwise, the place is noisy because of the road. Ideally located near the old town.
Good parking area that does not look like much, but we spent two days and two nights there without any problems. There was a fairground across the bridge, probably bringing more traffic than usual. The area is quieter after 10 p.m.
Good location for exploring the beautiful historic center, the park, and the newer part of town. Plenty of space, with a vegetable stand and pizzeria right next door.
