Rosswaldstrasse, 3852, Ringgenberg
Been here?
Small, family-run campsite in Ringgenberg near Interlaken and Lake Brienz, praised almost universally for spotless sanitary facilities and very friendly, helpful owners. Guests get a free bus/train guest card for Interlaken and the region, and can order fresh bread each morning. Pitches are simple, mostly ungrouted grass, generally quiet, and reachable without a 4x4. The lake is a 5-10 minute walk for swimming. Reception can close by evening, so call ahead for late arrivals; the site was reportedly closed in April 2026.

Pitch with a view of the lake, very clean sanitary facilities, and very friendly staff. Fresh bread is available for breakfast.Translating
A very pleasant and peaceful place. We spent two nights there, using it as an excellent base for visiting Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen, especially since we received cards entitling us to free bus and train travel. The campsite has everything we expect from such a place. The sanitary facilities and other shared areas are kept spotlessly clean.Translating
We got a pitch despite having no reservation. Unfortunately, I found the site expensive, and then we were also charged €6 too much! €52 per night including electricity. No access to the lake. Sanitary facilities clean and satisfactory, although I find two showers too few.Translating
Great stay, everything super clean, bread-roll service, small shop with good beer, free service area. Unfortunately, no lake view. The super-friendly owners also deserve special mention :)Translating

The campsite is spectacular, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We arrived outside check-in hours, but someone still came to check us in kindly. My cable was too short, and the very helpful and passionate owner lent me an extension cable. The sanitary facilities and showers were immaculate. An absolutely recommendable experience.Translating

Super beautiful and clean small campsite with very nice owners and bread-roll service. We got our preferred pitch even though we were only there for the weekend. Thank you, Barbara. Lots of information material for excursions in the surrounding area is available. We would happily come back.Translating
Very quiet and clean campsite. The campsite staff were very, very good and friendly, and helped us with everything. It is a small campsite, but we loved it. The bathrooms were always clean; there is a small shop and you can order bread. Very good location for getting around the area. We stayed with a caravan on the pitch closest to reception, with no smells from the dump station. Great!Translating
Magnificent campsite; in terms of welcome, services, and nearby activities, it is excellent! Especially since it is by the lake, 10 minutes on foot. We would return, God willing.Translating
We were welcomed very warmly and, luckily, were able to get a pitch for two days without a reservation. The campsite is ideally located for various outings; the nights are very quiet and the sanitary facilities immaculate!Translating
Spontaneously, a three-night stay was still possible, although unfortunately I could only stay for two nights. A very accommodating, warm, and organized team runs the site and is always easy to reach. Wonderfully located yet central. Perfect for hiking and going to the lake. Very clean and well organized on site, with enough space between the pitches.Translating
Great campsite for visiting Interlaken and surrounding area. Owners are polite and friendly and the toilets and showers were the cleanest we have come across on our travels around Europe! Just remember you have to book a time slot to use the washing machine and dryer.
Perfect for one night. The sanitary facilities are really clean, and people are respectful and clean up after themselves. The campsite is not very large, but more than sufficient. Very warm welcome, with a smile :-) I highly recommend it.Translating
Very nice campsite, very welcoming staff. The pitches are very good and the sanitary facilities are excellent. A small beach is 10 minutes’ walk downhill. We recommend it.Translating
Very nice, pleasant campsite with good bus connections; a guest card with free bus and train travel is included. Fresh sanitary facilities, pleasant surroundings, and a playground. Wi-Fi available throughout the campsite. The owners are super friendly and helpful. You can order freshly baked bread from a bakery every morning, which was a pleasant surprise—and superb bread! Kind regards, rooftop tent from Sweden.Translating
It is a small, clean campsite with a peaceful atmosphere. The owners are very nice, friendly, and welcoming to dogs. The terraced pitches create a natural atmosphere—simply beautiful. The location is excellent: you can quickly reach the lake and Interlaken, and there are good public transport connections. We liked it so much that we spontaneously extended our stay.Translating
Everything is very well maintained and clean. The pitches are not separated; if it gets full, you park close behind one another. Otherwise, it is very cozy. Wi-Fi is available on site. The guest card can only be used within a limited radius, but it is still something. Very friendly owners.Translating
Beautiful campsite with clean toilets, accessible without a 4x4. The owners were always very friendly and helpful. Other services include ordering bread, a shop, and many discounts for Interlaken and the region. A little expensive, but we are in Switzerland, after all? We paid CHF 125 for 3 nights with a car and rooftop tent, without electricity, for 2 people, including tourist tax and so on.Translating
Very clean campsite with level pitches and nice owners. The sanitary facilities are excellent to use and showers are free. We would happily come back!Translating
€48 for one night with electricity. The pitches were extremely muddy, very uncomfortable.Translating
If you arrive late, you will not be admitted.
Very clean campsite. We paid CHF 49 for a van for 2 people, including washing machine and dryer.
Very pleasant campsite on Lake Brienz. We spent a lovely night in a camper for less than €50. Great pitches in green surroundings, 10 minutes by car from Interlaken. The owner is a charming man. He recommended several hikes in the region. We will come again!
