Ocean views, uneven ground

Lovely spot under the pine trees, well shaded with a beautiful view. It is difficult to find a level place. You can hear the dual carriageway below quite clearly.

Great view over Faro, near the road but with little traffic and no noise at night. However, the wind was strong, though it calmed down during the night. I was alone at the spot.

The main spot fits 2–3 vans maximum. There are a few more spaces farther up. Unobstructed view of Faro and the ocean. Avoid in bad weather, as it gets very windy.

Very good views and quiet for sleeping, although there are quite a few tree roots that make leveling difficult.

Beautiful place! You can take a long uphill walk from here to the nearest mountain. There is a swing there with a wonderful view. The place is fairly quiet, but you may not be completely level. There is occasional traffic on the road.

An extraordinary view with magnificent sunsets and sunrises! We recommend this place. We were lucky to have wind, which meant we could not hear the motorway at all. Little traffic on the road above. Truly ideal if you are looking for a peaceful place in the middle of the forest.

Absolutely incredible place! Go a little higher and the solar panels recharge easily! Bin and hiking trail nearby! Keep well to the left, as it is a hiking passage.

Good for one night; we were completely alone. The sunset and the view are breathtaking. Be careful at the edge and drive down it cautiously. No cars passed at night. Keep the place clean :)

A small, cozy place. Very uneven, with only a little level ground to park comfortably. Be careful at the entrance: there is a very high curb. It has been filled in slightly at only one point for access. The view is beautiful, overlooking the sea and the cities. We watched planes taking off and landing all evening.

The parking spaces are alongside the road. With our rooftop tent, we preferred to continue a little farther and take the dirt road on the right that climbs parallel to it. There are several places to stop and, although they are rather dirty, the night was peaceful.

Excellent place to stop, relax and have a beer with magnificent scenery. No facilities. The ground is not level for sleeping.

One of the best places in the region. I think there is only one truly comfortable spot, plus a second option without a view. The view is magnificent. For a motorhome I think it is complicated, but no problem in a van if you position the vehicle carefully. It is not a long, rough drive, just a matter of positioning properly. Do not miss the view and peace.

The view is great, although it is a little sloped. However, cleanliness is poor: it is dirty, with wipes and a condom in the trees.

A very quiet place to spend the night. There is an area above that seems busy on weekends and could possibly prevent restful sleep. Apart from being startled by a woman who knocked on our door at 9 p.m. because she could not retrieve her dog, everything was perfect.
