A quiet parking area near the Ködelbergstausee, surrounded by nature and suitable for an overnight stay. The reservoir is about 500m away on foot. Nights are very quiet, with only occasional passing cars, and the walk around the dam is worthwhile.

I spent a very peaceful night here alone. A walk along the reservoir is worthwhile.
We had a quiet night, with only occasional cars passing. The parking lot is surrounded by nature and large enough. Good starting point for walking to the Ködel Reservoir.
The site is officially closed; the reason is unclear. Possibly because of timber storage. The parking area below the beer garden is flatter and better anyway.
