17 Chemin de la Borderie, 24460, Château-l'Évêque
Been here?
A flat gravel parking area beside sports facilities, with a children’s play area and free toilets nearby. It is generally quiet and suitable for sleeping, although occasional traffic, the rarely used railway and sports or community events can create disturbance. Recent stays were calm, while earlier comments recommend avoiding Saturdays and Sundays. The village bakery is 400m away.

Flat pitch next to a children's play area. Quiet and ideal for sleeping. Thank you to the municipality.
We preferred this site, farther from the road and railway. We were there with another van; the evening and night were quiet. Around 8:30 a.m., a group of hikers parked around us and trucks arrived to deliver sand for future works.
Actually the parking area for the sports facilities, so it could be full during events. Some car traffic during the evening rush hour, but not disruptive. The infrequently running train was also not a problem. The frogs were silent.
Flat, quiet place with free toilets and an adjacent playground. What more could you ask for? Thank you to the municipality.
Very good for one night. Flat gravel ground near a sports complex and community hall. The service area at the village entrance is out of order except for waste disposal. I recommend the place except on Saturdays and Sundays.
Toilets nearby and a children's playground. We were there on a Friday evening; it was a little noisy because of the community hall next door, but thanks to the frogs for their delightful concert :)
