174 Old Youghal Road, T23 D3T9, Cork
Been here?
Free parking day and night near Cork city centre, with no campervan restrictions and space used by multiple campervans. It is slightly sloped, quiet overnight but busier in the morning, with traffic continuing until 24h and helicopters operating from 8h nearby. The city is about 20 minutes downhill, while the return climb is steep and takes about 30 minutes.

parked here for 1 night, town 20 minutes downhill. parked on the opposite side as no spaces. quite at night. 5 min wall to the crossing of wellington rd and st lukes crossing is the wine tavern coffee shop john hench bar excellent location. close to the van. would definitely come again. just mind the steep hill sat nav will take you up.
Slightly sloped at the top of the hill. Traffic until midnight. Landing until 8 p.m. and helicopter takeoffs from 8 a.m., just behind the wall. None of this bothers me. Twenty minutes downhill to the city center and 30 minutes back up, quite steep.
Neighbourhood is not so good, had to walk an extra round to avoid drunk group of people. Road is indeed busy
I confirm everything. Be careful that on the other side of the road parking is only possible with a time disc, as throughout the rest of the area. Here, however, it is allowed, right on the road in front of the military museum. Very little noise during the night, but much more in the morning. That is perfectly normal given the proximity to the center. We stayed for just one night.
