Daytime parking beside the forest office center, with portable toilets, a small play area and a beautiful view of Königstein Fortress. The place is quiet and free. A camping prohibition sign has recently been installed at the entrance, directing campers to the campsite 50m away.

Very nice place, unfortunately it has recently acquired a no-camping sign.
The site itself is great, but a sign has been put up at the entrance clearly prohibiting camping. Instead, you are supposed to use the campsite 50 meters away.
Super-quiet place with the best view of Königstein Fortress. Breakfast in the sun. Truly recommended… A forester was there and said nothing. :)
