A peaceful parking place in Kolovesi National Park beside a lake, with a roofed fireplace and dry toilet. The lake is easily accessible for swimming and launching kayaks or canoes, although parking is about 50 m from the shore. In mid-July, the area accommodated 4 MHs and 6 cars, leaving little additional space.

4 MHs and 6 cars on an evening in mid-July. That's about as much room as there is on a parking place. In addition, 10 arrived in kayaks on the lake. It's an excellent starting/landing point for a kayak/canoe trip on the lake. We went to Lohilahden kotalaavu (45 min) where we cooked lunch on the barbecue set up there. A beautiful sunset. Peaceful overnight stay.
How peaceful! Few people at the end of July. The dry toilets are not very welcoming, and there is no parking directly facing the lake; the parking area is 50 meters away. Easy access for swimming and launching kayaks.Translating
