Mill Lane, TN27 8NW, Smarden
Been here?
A quiet, adult-only five-place campsite set mainly on grass, with some hard standing when wet. It is cash-only in GB pounds, and electricity costs £4 extra; water, electricity and grey- and black-waste facilities are available, with chemical-toilet cleaning. There are no toilets or showers, while pubs are within 5 minutes’ walk and the site is dog friendly. Access can be very narrow in places for large motorhomes.

Very nice and quiet place to stay. Just call the phone number and ask for availability. Cash only. Electricity and water available. Also cleaning facilities for chemical toilet. Dog friendly.
we found this campsite by chance and are so glad we did. Peace and quiet in amongst the meadow and trees. grey and black waste disposal and drinking water and electricity available. This now our go to destination from now on, for before and after crossing through the channel tunnel. Our dog loved the woodland walks too.
Really beautiful place and super friendly and welcoming owners. We would have liked to stay longer. Short walk to nice pubs & all the services!
Beautiful, peaceful place. Report to the garage. Cash payment. You must be self-sufficient. Grey and black water can be emptied. A few pubs are a six-minute walk away. Lovely old village.
Very nice spot at a very fair price.
Excellent location, very quiet, secluded in nature and clean. All services available. The owners are extraordinarily kind. A very nice stop before or after the ferry or tunnel.
Magnificent private, wooded park; the welcome is exceptionally warm. The owners are accommodating, as we are not members and had not yet exchanged currency. The village pub is a five-minute walk away. We had a lovely evening and a quiet night.
Very welcoming owners, even though we were not CAMC members—friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and spacious. The access road is very narrow in places, so be careful with large motorhomes! Water and electricity are available. Very relaxing.
Lovely site ... price is what it is these days .. friendly welcome from the owners who are Motorhome owners themselves. Good for dog walking and the three local pubs all welcome dogs. The Village Shop and Butcher are only a 10-minute walk away .. coffee is served at the shop. Highly recommended stop.
CAMC members only! Nice spot, pub food was alright, really expensive for what is here - a field, some nice trees, water, bins, black and grey waste. EHU is extra!
The host was there when we arrived and was super helpful. Great little spot in nature with all services for motorhomes. Walk to the local pub/town. Two power points with multiple sockets and drinking water available. Thank you for having us stay!
