Been here?
A peaceful natural motorhome and camping place directly beside the Åkrafjord, with beautiful views and sunsets. The current price is 200 NOK or 17,50€ per day, plus 50 NOK for electricity; the shower costs 20 nok. Access is by a narrow, sometimes steep gravel road and can be difficult in wet weather, with 4x4 possible in rain. Tables, BBQ facilities with wood and a boat are available, while the toilet and shower are away from the pitches.

We have an 8.5-meter front-wheel-drive vehicle, which was absolutely impossible in today's rainy weather. The place looked really great, but the last section downhill was impassable in the rain. It is doable with 4x4.Translating
Great natural site directly on the Åkrafjord. Now NOK 200 / €17.50 per day. NOK 50 for electricity. Payment gladly accepted via PayPal to Tungesvik gard, email, in Norwegian kroner. Everything else is described in the other comments!Translating
The approach is indeed adventurous. You can pay in cash or via PayPal. Definitely recommended for €14.50 / NOK 150. The view is beautiful, with a wonderful sunset. We did not use the facilities. Otherwise, there is nothing to do here—no hiking or cycling routes.Translating
The access road is adventurous but manageable. The site is in a truly beautiful location, with a great view of the water. More annoying is a very strong smell of rotten fish, possibly from the floating islands left on shore, which are covered in mussels. Everything looks a little run-down and untidy.Translating
A truly exceptional place, with a superb view of the fjord. It is true that access is not easy, but it is completely manageable with a 6 m campervan. The shower and toilet are a little far from the parking area. Quiet, very quiet—pure bliss.Translating
Very beautiful place to relax. We were completely alone here. The approach is somewhat adventurous but definitely manageable. We paid NOK 400 for two nights including electricity.Translating
Absolutely beautiful place with a very kind hostess. The road there is gravel with the usual bumps and is for local traffic only, nothing to worry about. Very worthwhile.Translating
A little gem! You have to dare to descend with a large motorhome, but the game is worth the slight stress. The facilities are basic, but the owners are adorable! View, barbecue area, table, boats...Translating
10 star place. maybe those leaving bad reviews have never driven gravel. it's a little steep at the end but it's fine. an absolute gem, our last stop in 3 months and one of the best. toilet and shower fine, no time limit and all clean. amazing view and so peaceful. they have hammocks now too. very friendly owner. would absolutely come back and don't listen to the negative reviews
beautiful place but the road is deadly 3 km on gravel, 2.5 meters wide
Beautiful little campsite directly on the fjord. Very nice hosts. Payment by PayPal or cash, 150 NOK is a great price. The access road is partly a very steep gravel track. It was manageable with a normal car. Others stayed here with 6–8 m motorhomes.Translating
Very beautiful spot directly by the water. The approach is manageable but adventurous, narrow and partly steep. We stayed here for two nights. Super quiet. Highly recommended.Translating
Very narrow access road, adequate signage. Wonderful view, free choice of pitch. There is a shower and toilet together in a very worn room; some things are broken or not working, and we only got ice-cold water. There is also an outdoor washing basin with cold water. Electricity is available, but we did not use it.Translating
Very beautifully located site. The sanitary facilities are well maintained, but about a 100-meter walk from the camping area. Directly by the water; if you like, you can rent a rowing boat for 50 NOK per hour. The owner is also extremely friendly. Just be careful driving up and down!Translating
Once you are down there, the site turns out to be beautiful, but you should not try to maneuver a 1.2-ton Eriba down there with a 28-year-old Golf 3 with a very good 90 hp/1.8-liter engine. The previous reviews had made us careless. A vehicle belonging to the owners will tow the caravan back up. The road consists of coarse gravel with transverse rain ruts.Translating
Wonderful place to spend the night beside the fjord. However, access is not easy; the end of the road is very steep and not well maintained. To get back up, I had to try twice—it is really steep and the wheels spin. That is the only negative point. 150 NOK is really cheap.Translating
A really beautiful nature campsite. The road there is truly an adventure: a very narrow gravel road. But once you arrive at the bottom, the adrenaline is worth it. Very quiet. Super-friendly operators. You can pay in cash or via PayPal. Toilet, shower and washing-up facilities available. You can also fish and rent a boat.Translating
Pitch directly on the fjord. Simply dreamlike. You do not want to leave. Access is via a gravel road, very narrow with no passing places. In some places it goes steeply downhill or uphill. At the steepest point, we had to make four attempts before managing to get up. If it is wet, the return journey may not be possible for larger motorhomes. Despite this problem, highly recommended.Translating
A beautiful quiet place with a magnificent view on the Fjord, very nice host and friendly dogs. The gravel road is narrow but doable with a camper, just take it easy!
A really great spot directly by the water, the access is manageable, the welcome very friendly, idyllic peace! We did not use the sanitary facilities, so we cannot rate them.Translating
Everything was great. Beautiful and quiet. We fished and caught something. You can rent a small rowing boat for a few kroner. Only the shower has seen better days, but it works. The rest of the sanitary facilities are very clean!Translating
Thanks for this great insider tip! The road is a bit bumpy over the gravel track. The bathroom is small. However, we are currently sharing the site with only one other camper, so it is completely sufficient. The shower is already somewhat dated. But the view, access to the water and peace make up for everything. We feel very comfortable here and are enjoying the evening sun!Translating
Simple pitch—but a great view of the fjord and everything you need at a reasonable price: motorhome 150 NOK or €15, electricity 50 NOK or €5. Cash payment possible with the owner—she comes by herself. The one-star reviews are simply cheeky. If you cannot drive on unpaved roads, just keep going! Do not rely on the satnav; follow the signs.Translating
Very nice little pitch with the essentials. The operator is super friendly. We stayed three nights in total because the weather was very warm and we could swim there. The one-star comments are almost outrageous. The approach is not entirely easy, but it is described that way. Easily manageable with a camper van or motorhome up to 7 meters.
