Village parking, overnight ban

A small village parking area with limited space, partly occupied by old cars and recycling bins. Recent information states that overnight parking is no longer allowed. The area is otherwise described as quiet, with several places nearby and walks around the village. A grassed area with picnic tables and a children’s playground is a little further uphill.

Can no longer be used overnight! Sign at the entrance to the parking area!
We were set up with another motorhome when a very friendly ranger came to explain that it was a private parking area reserved for the town. She showed us two other parking areas around the village. We did not stay at the first one because passers-by were taking photos of the van without explanation. We found the motorhome parking area just before the village.
Quiet spot. Bin nearby.
Very peaceful, convenient spot with several spaces. Beautiful walks around the area. Fairly level gravel surface, so no problem when it rains. We do not understand the comment below.
We aren't sure about this at all. It's over the road from people's homes. It is quite small (the pictures make it look much bigger), in March it was a mudslide!, there are recycling bins next to where you would park and a part of it is roped off with some old relics of cars inside! Not sure if this is a viable park-up anymore?
