Been here?
A spacious picnic and daytime parking area in a beautiful valley beside a river, with wild horses and many walking routes. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited in the natural park, and fines have been issued. The final dirt section is currently in good condition, but vehicles over 3.5 m may need to turn around before the park entrance. A spring is available 2km before the parking area.

Overnight stays are prohibited in the Western Valleys Natural Park. The park boundary on the road leading to this site is at the turnoff to Gabardito. To get here, there is a short stretch of dirt road, whose surface is currently in good condition. A little farther on is La Mina parking area. Several routes start from there. Forest rangers patrol to check whether anyone is spending the night in the area.Translating
Please note, with a maximum of 3.5 m can drive beyond the bus stop, close to the entry of the parc before the tunnels. We are higher and had to back down in order to turn around.
The preferred parking area for climbing to Ibón de Acherito. The next one, La Mina, is only a few metres away, but the road is very potholed and broken, so it is not worth it. Enough space for the number of visitors the place receives. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited.Translating
Great place to spend the day beside the river and hike the Ibón de Acherito trail. Don't sleep here; it is not allowed and would be foolish.Translating
We stayed here and ignored the “no camping” sign, we received a fine early the next morning, the park ranger checks each morning…..camp in the campsite, the fine was €50…….
Spectacular place to stop for lunch. Since it is in a valley and natural surroundings, overnight stays are prohibited!!Translating
