20 CA-131, 39314, Santillana del Mar
Been here?
A well-maintained campsite with grassy pitches and very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Reception is friendly, but some pitches are sloping and require leveling blocks. Some areas have no shade or electricity, while other pitches offer shade. Reports also mention occasional noise and that some stays feel expensive.

Very warm welcome. Excellent grassy motorhome pitches. Superb sanitary facilities.
Very well-maintained campsite—you need leveling blocks. Don't miss Comillas; it's very pretty.
The receptionist was very friendly. They accommodated us after we had to try our luck for the third time because everything nearby was full. They warned us that there was no shade or electricity, but it was only for one night anyway. They were very helpful throughout and advised us on the best way to get to Santillana del Mar.
The receptionist was unpleasant. We sent a WhatsApp message to ask whether there was space. When we got no reply, we called first thing in the morning. She said she had 10–11 pitches without electricity or shade. We agreed. But when we arrived, she said she would not let us in because our motorhome was too high and would hit the branches. We don't understand why she said yes that morning if all the pitches are similar.
Noisy campsite, pitch too small and sloping; bring large leveling blocks. Very pleasant staff. Price: €60 for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 dog. Too expensive!
We initially decided to stay just one night with the camper, but ended up staying another because we were very comfortable on a shaded pitch, one minute's walk from the bathrooms, in a very peaceful and relaxing area beside the countryside. The value for money is really good. The pool area in particular was very well maintained.
Pitch at the back of the site because I requested no electricity. Sloping ground and, at €34 per night, a little expensive, but there are very few alternatives in the area. Nothing to see nearby; you just pass through.
The only problem is that many pitches are not level at all, so bring leveling blocks. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly, dogs stay free, there is plenty of shade, and the bathrooms are clean and new with toilet paper. I would definitely return.
We arrived without a reservation and, despite it being a holiday weekend, they found room for us. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The price is reasonable: €34 for a pitch with a tent, two people and two dogs.
We called and were told that pitches were still available, but that we should hurry because they were selling out. We rushed there as a last resort since the area is packed in August. When we arrived, they sent us to an area in full sun and on a slope—there was no need to hurry so much. The bathrooms were far away and dirty. Very expensive at €38, but we accepted because there was nothing better.
Modern facilities but quite dirty. The pitches are not level. Very few architectural barriers. The pool was clean, but swimming caps are required. The bathrooms were flooded almost all day. Expensive for what it offers: €46 per night for a camper with electricity, two adults, one child and a dog.
Well-kept area but poorly levelled. Price not suitable for motorhomes (€53 for one night: motorhome, 2 adults and 2 young people). A motorhome has electricity, and you can shower and wash dishes. Therefore, the all-inclusive price makes no sense. Waste disposal and water filling are available, but only for emergencies, as in our case.
We arrived after exhausting all parking possibilities in the area, which is not at all suited to the influx of motorhomes. We were offered a space in full sun because there was no better option, so we accepted. €35 per night without a pitch or electricity, on a path beside a barn; dirty toilets and a packed pool with swimming caps required.
This is the first year we have travelled by van. €104 for two nights for a pitch seems enormous to me, and it is the same at all the campsites nearby. Rectangular pool, pitches under plane trees that shed leaves everywhere, and good pitches packed closely together.
