Free public parking in the centre of Boticas, beside the GNR police station. The historic village has shops, cafés, restaurants, a pretty park, and a small river, but there are no facilities at the parking area. Overnight stays are generally peaceful, and church bells stop after 10 pm. Parking may be unavailable during the village festivals.

Slept wonderfully here; the bells stopped after 10 p.m. Excellent place next to the police station.

Super quiet and well-lit place for spending a very pleasant night in Boticas.
We were there on 17 August. We coincided with the Boticas festivities. At this time of year, parking is not possible because this is where the performance stage is set up.
Lovely little town to visit. Pretty park with river, couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurant. Nice old streets to wander through. Stayed the night in the village square. Very peaceful. Church bells stop after 10 pm until 8am so quiet night.
