A free daytime car park close to Tintern Abbey, with space for larger vehicles before 2.2m height barriers were installed. Overnight parking is forbidden, and part of the area has been a construction site. After sunset, a bright green light and loud monotonous machinery noise have been reported; scenic walks start nearby.

2.2m height barriers now in place, stopped down the road by derelict hotel instead but ground isn't the best (for getting level)
A lot of space here, but a part of the lot is currently a construction site. After sunset there is a bright green light shining in all directions (what a waste of electricity!) and a machine makes a loud (but monotonous) noise.
Easy access even for large vehicles, always free. But daytime use only.
