Old-town parking, calm nights

Comfortable and peaceful, with a view of the historic town center. Thanks to the municipality for being welcoming to motorhome travelers.

Thanks to the town of Uzès for allowing us to park the camper near the town center. Very quiet. We were alone and it was free. We stayed there during the day, but you can sleep there if you do not need services.

No amenities, but very easy to access and very close to the town center. No noise disturbance.

Very large parking lot; the upper parking area is better suited to large motorhomes. Slightly sloped, but nothing serious. Very quiet at night and well lit.

I confirm: free, about a 10-minute walk from the lovely historic center. Plenty of space and quiet for the night, since the center is very congested. We were two campers there on June 14, early enough to explore the huge Saturday market with its variety of local products.

Perfect for visiting the town, a 10-minute walk away. Free parking. The upper part of the parking lot is unpaved, with gravel and dirt, but level. No leveling blocks needed. Plenty of spaces; we were two motorhomes spending an extremely quiet night.

Excellent place for an overnight stop. Very quiet. Fairly flat. No services. Ten minutes from the town center. We were five motorhomes there on May 9, 2024.

We had a peaceful night. You can reach the town in a short time, a 10-minute walk.

Stayed for one night, no problems and really quiet. Some construction noise started around 8am. Very good location right next to the old town. Parked at the upper terrace on gravel which is level, asphalt on lower level a bit sloping. If there were Travellers living here before, they must have been evicted as there was no-one and no signs of fulltime living. Will come again.

The upper parking area is flat but used for storing equipment. There is still space, especially on weekends. Ideally arrive Saturday morning to visit the large Uzès market and the beautiful town in the afternoon, leaving the upper parking area free on Sunday evening.

Easy-to-access parking near the town center. Illuminated at night. Very quiet. No shade for those visiting in hot weather. Not the slightest trace of Travellers! After speaking with a shopkeeper, we learned that this parking area and the town in general are peaceful and safe.
