Freibad Campingplatz

€18 per night with a tent and two people for a very beautiful and peaceful campsite including a swimming lake. Toilets and showers were clean. Showers cost 50 cents. We really enjoyed using it as a base for Celle, Braunschweig and Gifhorn.

We give five stars because this site is spacious, clean and pure relaxation. After five days enjoying the peace and quiet, we look forward to coming again. Ideal for families with children! €18 per night for a camper and two people, €3.50 for 24-hour electricity.

Very nice campsite with lots of swimming options. Big field for camping not busy. Shower 0.5 euro for 5 minutes.

A lovely little gem of a campsite. Service building, swimming pool, restaurant and a small lake with two small beaches. A lockable gate. All of this in a small area. Charming. Walking distance to a small town center.

Wonderful place. I’d give it more stars! Had the whole field to ourselves & it’s a holiday weekend! There is a restaurant (didn’t try) washing up, washing, chemical loo point and sparkling loos. Shower was brilliant- v hot and strong (costs .50 euro). Also our greeting was so friendly and helpful. Happily come back if I’m ever around here again. Euro for 2 people in a campervan.

Lots of space; you get the key for the gate and toilet building. Good food in the campsite restaurant (note: cash payment, as in many places in Germany), friendly welcome and a lovely little lake for swimming! It was clearly less busy, as the holiday season was over.
