Waterfront parking, overnight stays prohibited

This free gravel parking area beside the ferry and waterfront has no services. Recent signage states that overnight stays in motorhomes are prohibited, despite earlier reports of quiet nights. There are a few parking spaces by the shore and more higher along the road.

Beautiful seafront. Gravel parking place was quiet and empty all through the night even though it was friday evening. The info board said no overnight parking on the island but we didn't see any sign that wouldn't allow spending the night here. Much calmer place than Kasnäs a few kilometres onwards.
Beautiful ferry shore. A couple of parking spaces are by the shore, with more higher up along the road. When leaving, I noticed a sign on the island information board prohibiting motorhomes, with the text “applies to overnight stays.” I did not stay to check whether the sign meant overnight stays on the island; there were no restrictions near the parking signs.
