857-859 La Camp, 30270, Saint-Jean-du-Gard
Been here?
A large, shaded campsite on the banks of the Gardon, with spacious level pitches and a family-oriented atmosphere. It has modern sanitary facilities, hot showers, a swimming pool with river access, children’s games, a pump track and a seasonal restaurant. Staff are friendly, and the setting includes views of the river and mountains. The shop may be poorly stocked and WiFi can be very weak on outer pitches.

Very nice, but it is a shame there is no rate for people traveling alone, who ultimately pay as much as two people. Absurd.
A very friendly reception and good choice of pitches. All the team were friendly and worked hard to ensure a good stay. Pitches are large, level and shaded. Sanitaries were good. It’s a family oriented site, absolutely superb for families. The shop was awful, the fridge empty, not even a piece of cheese! and very poor selection. Stock up before arrival. Zero shade at the pool, not 1 umbrella.
This is still the tidiest campsite on my trip through France. Very beautiful, shady pitches. Highly recommended. I have been coming here for many years and keep returning. Friendly, helpful and reliable owners. Restaurant at very reasonable prices.
Very beautiful campsite, with plenty of space and a lovely view of the river and mountains. A very large, beautiful swimming pool and lots of games for children. The welcome is very, very good. Bread is available every morning, and the restaurant was still open; the pizzas are good.
We spent two nights there with our two little girls; very good value for money. The campsite is very well located, with clean and plentiful sanitary facilities. The pitches are spacious, and the playground and swimming pool delighted the whole family!
Very large and quiet campsite with clean sanitary facilities. The Wi-Fi is very, very weak and basically unusable, at least on the outer pitches. I also searched in vain for the advertised small shop. The restaurant is so-so.
Excellent campsite, great welcome, idyllic setting with mountains, river and swimming pool! No mobile homes, only campers. We were supposed to stay one night, but ended up staying two! I highly recommend it!
Very crowded. Children have plenty to do, so I recommend it if you have children. For a couple, I am more ambivalent. Part of the pétanque area is somewhat overgrown. If you speak German or Dutch, you will have the opportunity to meet people. The Wi-Fi works very poorly. The welcome and staff are genuinely very nice.
Superb. Easily deserves five stars. Magnificent setting. The leisure facilities are truly exceptional! What campsite can boast having a skate park?! Impeccably clean. The pitches are very spacious and well shaded. The only drawback is internet access; it is a little complicated :-)
