Scenic green site, uneven ground

Perfect for spending a peaceful night. Facilities in good condition and close to the village.

Beautiful, quiet spot in the countryside; leveling blocks are necessary. Motorhomes cannot park anywhere else in Sortelha. From here it is a 15-minute walk uphill to the beautiful old village with its castle and fortified wall. There is nothing to buy, so bring supplies. Waste disposal and filling facilities are impeccable. Sortelha and its fascinating rocky landscape are truly worth a visit.

Good place for spending the night; leveling blocks are needed for almost all spaces. A quiet night, with the facilities working well. The historic center and castle are well worth visiting. Thanks to the council for providing this excellent place.

Thanks to the municipality for this completely free and welcoming place. No problem with our vehicle over 7 m long, although there were not many people at this time of year. Some trees make parking and access difficult. Quite close to this magnificent, beautifully restored medieval village. It is worth the detour.

The parking area is uneven and on unpaved ground. It is said to have WiFi, but no WiFi is available.

It has the services, but the parking area is quite uneven and difficult for large motorhomes.

The only drawback is the slope, especially if there are already motorhomes and you can only park in the spaces at the top. It is right next to the road, but there is no traffic at all at night. A completely peaceful overnight stay.

Good park for sleeping and visit the históric village. Simple… and quiet!

Very good and quiet place! Everything a motorhome traveler needs is available.

Perfect for a visit to Sortelha. We were here for the medieval festival and busses ran day and until midnight picking up people free of charge. Quiet night, more traffic than expected and services clean.

Beautiful and quiet, everything working and clean is far from the center though, cellphone reception very weak just 1 bar, unfortunately I didn’t know that around the village everything was burned with the recent fires, You still can feel the burnt smell, all stones on the road that where part of the landscape are now black, very sad but the area still working, I hope they recover soon.

Small but sufficiently organized space for spending the night. There were two motorhomes and we managed to stop beside the house. The rubbish bin was full. Free WiFi. No toilets. In summary, a pleasant, small place with the basics.

If you are looking for a quiet place, this area is perfect!!!! Very friendly neighbors and facilities working perfectly. We cycled to the village. It is not that close. In the morning a car selling bread passes by.

Raised platform with grey- and black-water disposal and fresh-water filling. Just below is a partly level dirt area. Quiet place.

A lovely aire and historic village. There is a grass/gravel spot on the U bend of the cobbled service path, big enough for a van, which is especially idyllic: it is further away from the sporadic road noise of the lower level. Dog owners should be aware of dangerous processionary caterpillars, if visiting in Spring. They are reportedly very bad here. We had the place to ourselves in October.

This motorhome service area is perfect for a calm and peaceful stay. It is free, very clean and practically new, offering a pleasant environment. There are no toilets, but the area has good shade for parking. A great place to stay, with well-maintained facilities.

Everything perfect, good water pressure. At night, small lights illuminate the drain and filling point without disturbing the parking area.

Extraordinary place. Very beautiful and peaceful. The neighbors who live opposite the area are very friendly and kind. It is a little far from the village where the castle and restaurant are. Five stars if you are looking for tranquility.

We spent the night before the May 1 holiday with two other motorhomes. Very peaceful place. In about 15 minutes you reach the entrance arch to the old village of Sortelha. This settlement possibly preserves the atmosphere of a Historic Village better than any other. Park in the lower open area. There is no need to drive through the service area. Parking with a slight slope.
