Camping Payerne

Very friendly and helpful site operator. Despite many permanent campers, there are enough pitches under tall trees. Excellent for one or two nights.

I spent three nights here. I was warmly welcomed by the lovely site manager. The site is quiet, well-kept, and clean. The old sanitary facilities are also well-maintained and very clean. Relaxed atmosphere. Open from April to October, not already in March.

We stayed for three nights; the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Francesco even spontaneously brought us a beer! The sanitary facilities are very old but always clean. Hot water for washing dishes costs 50 centimes and lasts rather briefly. Great surroundings, and Payerne is a 15-minute walk away. We would gladly return!

The friendly welcome and kind manager were a highlight of our trip. The facilities are basic but immaculately clean. Thanks to the large trees, we always had shade. We could walk our dog on the dirt roads around the campsite. Payerne is about 15–20 minutes away on foot. Very relaxed atmosphere, just right for a few days' holiday!

Very nice welcome; we were assigned a beautiful pitch for one night. The toilet and shower were clean, hot water costs 50 cents, and the site manager was very nice. We would come again.

Very nice host; he immediately offered us Lindt chocolates and drinks, and even wanted to drive us to the nearest restaurant. Since we arrived in the evening and stayed only one night, we did not see much of the campsite.

We are very happy with our stay at the campsite. Here, guests feel at home thanks to the exceptionally friendly and considerate managers. We plan to return in summer so the grandchildren can enjoy the pool.

Wonderful off-season stay, two consecutive weekends with a 7.60 m motorhome. Very warm welcome, and the managers, Fabienne and Francisco, are exceptionally friendly and considerate. They go out of their way to satisfy guests. Quiet location and very friendly residents. Sanitary facilities are a little dated but clean and functional. We will return, and I highly recommend it.

This campsite seems to be popular, and I understand why! The manager is friendlier than you find every day. The campsite is clean, and so are the sanitary facilities. I am very happy with my stay here. Perfect for a peaceful off-season stay at a very attractive price. I recommend it!

A very, very warm welcome from the owner and his wife. The campsite is quite old, as are the sanitary facilities, but they are going to redo everything for next season. We were the only motorhome, and it was very convenient for going into town to shop. Rate for three nights with electricity: €110. Go there with your eyes closed; in summer there is also a superb swimming pool and slides.
