Been here?
A peaceful riverside picnic area at the start of the Castilla Canal, with green lawn, shade, ducks and space for dogs. The river is suitable for swimming, and there are bins, a fountain and a nearby pool bar. It is a pleasant place to stop, eat and rest, although no other services are available.

There are bins, a fountain, shade, plenty of grass for dogs, and a river where they can swim, with lots of little ducks. Nearby is the village pool bar.
Perfect as a stop for eating.
Perfect place to stop and rest. Good views. This is the source of the Castile Canal. Area with walking routes.
I just love it here, great stop for our picnic and a dog walk on the way to catch the ferry at Santander.
Very nice place, although we did not stay overnight. There are also railway tracks next to it. The swimming pool was still not open in mid-June, even though it already had water in it. Apparently you can also canoe here.
Quiet picnic area. You can have a good swim. The pools and bathrooms are very close.
Spectacular place with lots of shade and a swimming pool for hot days. 100% recommended.
A lovely place to stop. Magnificent walk, swimming pools, etc. Thanks to the town council.
It is an excellent place: very quiet and cool, with shade, grass, a fountain, and a very pleasant river view, plus a snack bar with tables.
We stopped along the way to eat, and it is a very pleasant and fairly shaded place.
