Dam parking, nighttime disturbances

A place known for car stunts and rave parties at night, accompanied by honking. There is no response even if you call the police to intervene :-((( I recommend the other location along the dam instead, which is much quieter if there is space.✦Translating

We had a peaceful night; the parking area is very large, full of bins, and surrounded by trees.✦Translating

A quiet place during the day to park and enjoy a walk along the reservoir; at night, young people cause trouble by coming to drink, smoke weed, and joyride. No services, and no shaded spaces. Note: the access roads have MAX 2.80 m signs, but there are no height restrictions up to the parking area.✦Translating

We wanted to spend the night of October 10–11 here: beautiful place, but we were disturbed by people in cars who started driving past repeatedly at high speed. Frightened, we left for somewhere else. I do not know whether they were dealers or urban street-racing enthusiasts. Great opportunities for walking or cycling, with numbered-node routes.✦Translating

Actually, this is a beautiful place. We are here for the second time; the first time it was very quiet. Today, despite it being Monday, cars keep driving past, revving loudly at motorhomes and racing by at very high speed. The police come if you call them on the Belgian number 101. The problem is known there.✦Translating

I pulled up here and was just settling in for the evening when the boy racers arrived, parking in the motorhome area and gathering at the picnic table. They might well be lovely young fellows that help grandmas and small injured animals, but I wasn't taking the risk of having to listen to their music, engines and chattering into the small hours. Very quiet and also suitable for large vehicles. However, we chose the regular parking area on the waterfront side.✦Translating

The place is beautiful; it is a car park, not a campsite, but unfortunately there are campers from Northern Europe who do not respect the rules and put out tables and chairs. Because of people like that, car parks are starting to ban motorhomes. A little common sense would benefit everyone.✦Translating

We arrived on Saturday and left again at midday on Whit Sunday. There were other motorhomes there, as well as us with our caravan combination. Everything was trouble-free; most of the time it was quiet. The nature is beautiful and invites you to go for walks.✦Translating

At night, young learner drivers come here and party; very loud. Racing track and shouting.✦Translating

We are currently in the parking area. As some have already reported, there was loud talking and engine revving again last night for about three hours. The rain that started probably ended it. Dear municipality, if you provide such a beautiful motorhome area, you should also ensure that campers feel comfortable.✦Translating
