Beautiful site, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, reasonable price. Two adults, first row by the water with electricity: €37 per night.
Campsite directly on the Rhine. Cash payment only. The sanitary facilities are unpleasant: dark, poorly ventilated and, in my opinion, in need of renovation. Bread delivery is available at reasonable prices. The surroundings are beautiful, with castles, vineyards and the lovely Rhine. The town is boring. The €5 daily electricity and sanitary fees also cost it a star.
We stayed here for one night and are satisfied with the value for money.
A beautiful, very long site, so many campers can stay in the first row by the water. Friendly, uncomplicated team. Good starting point for cycling or boat trips. Toilets and showers could be better maintained, but we have experienced much worse. Directly on the Rhine, with many passing ships to watch.
The location directly on the Rhine, with a view of the Loreley, is unbeatable. The first row by the water is fantastic. However, the site charges accordingly for this top view. At this high price, we expected the toilets to be considerably cleaner; there is still room for improvement. Beautiful location, but poor value for money.
Beautiful spot at Rhein! However this is the only thing that was positive about it. Poor facilities and we were shocked by the cost. Good learning lesson to always ask what is included in the base cost. We paid 108 Euro for two nights!!
Everything is currently being renovated, but everything is clean. Excellent location, although you pay for it.
Cash payment only was the biggest surprise. Reservations are not possible. The sanitary facilities are currently being modernized. Still, check the shower beforehand to make sure the temperature can be adjusted and the water stream goes where it should. A great place for watching ships, with a beautiful view of the Loreley. Depending on your location, one or two Rhine shipping signal stations are visible.
The price—the location is what you mainly pay for here. Beautiful view of the Loreley. You know you are staying on the Rhine, so many cargo ships pass by, and you can also see beforehand that there is a railway line. The sanitary facilities are clean, the water temperature is easy to adjust, and the receptionist is very friendly. Nice place.
Indeed, a beautiful place on the riverbank, but that is all. Poor value for money. The water in the old, not very clean shower cannot be adjusted and is especially hot. No garbage bin, and the glass recycling container is inaccessible behind barriers. Trains roar past all night. Plenty of dog-waste bags, but nothing for the green goose droppings. For this price I expect better.
Beautiful site; €33 in the first row is perfectly reasonable. Sanitary facilities are fine. The only unpleasant thing was the heavily used railway line. Otherwise, a very nice large site.
The site is fine. €33 per night for two people without electricity in the first row directly on the Rhine; the second and third rows are €5 cheaper. Sanitary facilities are okay but partly dirty and far away. Small huts with toilets and showers are available but not recommended. The town is pretty, but after two nights we had seen enough; it is more suitable as a stopover.
nice site situated along the river bank we paid 28 euros for a van on the green 2 adults lovely little food/drinks van onsite shower and toilets clean and spacious
This is our third year here. Still the same unfinished construction projects: lots started, nothing completed. The sanitary facilities could be cleaner. There are no rules about where to park; you may need a power cable longer than 25 meters. Some electrical hookup boxes are in poor condition. On the positive side, a second service station has been completed. Staff are friendly and helpful.
A site that is fine for a weekend or a stopover. The toilets were especially dirty in the morning, caused of course by the few people who cannot use a toilet brush. You can park wherever and however you like, which we personally do not appreciate. With more organization, more people could stand directly by the water and there would be room for more campers.
Pros: often still has pitches available when everything else is booked; large, very well-stocked shop; with luck, a pitch directly on the Rhine with a view of the Loreley. Cons: too few toilets and showers, often only cold water, Rhine shipping extremely noisy at night, no marked pitches, so your pitch may be taken when you return from a trip in your motorhome or campervan.
Excellent location on the Rhine for watching ships, directly opposite the Loreley. Sanitary facilities are so-so and clearly insufficient when fully occupied, although thankfully we have not experienced that. Reservations are not possible, which we like very much. Of course, you can hear the trains through the Rhine Valley.
Beautiful campsite! No reservation necessary. Drive in, take a ticket, choose a place and register. The toilets were clean.
Beautiful location in front of the Rhine, clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, you can hear the trains day and night, and payment is cash only.
A campsite with Rhine romance and panoramic views—highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loreleyblick campsite. Its location directly on the Rhine, with the incomparable view of the legendary Loreley, is truly unique, especially at sunset.
Very nice site directly on the Rhine. Clean sanitary facilities. Reservations are not possible: drive in, choose a place and register afterward. Perfect if you have concert tickets for the Loreley. The ferry and shuttle bus make everything easy.
Pitches directly on the Rhine, well-stocked shop, electricity right at the pitch, spacious and clean sanitary facilities. We like it here. The Winzerhaus Gärtner restaurant is highly recommended. We will return.
Good location directly on the Rhine, very good clean sanitary facilities, hot water, toilet paper and soap. Free pitches, some directly opposite the open-air stage; we heard a Maffay concert. Restaurant opposite. Trains can be heard at night. Good value for money: €24 for one person with a 7-meter motorhome and electricity. Ferry easily accessible. Geese and their droppings are a major nuisance. Cash-only payment is outdated.Translating
Campsite directly by the water. Everyone looks for a free pitch. There are several sanitary huts distributed around the site, each with one shower and one toilet. Cleanliness was reasonably okay. Nothing could be heard from the road, but ships and trains could be heard all night. That is to be expected in the Middle Rhine Valley. We would recommend the site.Translating
There are no clear rules for positioning vehicles; people park anywhere, and you have to find a space between them. Beware of dog mess! The site is beautifully located, and the shower and toilet huts are practical.Translating
The pitch is really good, directly by the water. There is only one sanitary facility in the middle of the campsite, so you have to walk a little depending on where you are. Reasonably priced; we would gladly return.Translating
