Beach car park, dirty and noisy

Very dirty and noisy place. Be careful: a person wearing a yellow vest comes by and tries to extort €10, claiming the site is paid. If you refuse, he spits at you and is ready to throw stones at the motorhome. We left to avoid trouble; this individual seemed capable of destroying your motorhome.

We arrived in Málaga in the early afternoon. There was no problem finding a parking space for our 7.5 m motorhome. In 2 minutes you can walk the dogs on the beach, and in 20 minutes you can cycle into the centre. It is worth accepting a slightly grubby and paid space. We felt safe and slept well.

One star because the parking is well located, with the beach opposite, the port 30 minutes away on foot and the city centre 45 minutes away. Yes, the man who welcomes people and helps with parking is Black! Yes, I gave him the amount requested! Yes, we slept peacefully! And yes... some people are trying to earn a living by providing a service; here, security is guaranteed.

What a joy to have this place, perhaps not for much longer. I have been stopping here for years and have never had any problems. If you are short of money, go elsewhere; that leaves more space. The guys position you and keep watch to ensure everything goes well. It is not a proper motorhome area, just a shared car park.

Good location for walking to the beach and port. The parking is neither clean nor beautiful, but it is well guarded for a few euros (you give whatever you want). Lots of locals park there every day, so there are no worries. We were in a 6 m truck with no problem.

Be careful. This place does not look safe and it is not free. A Black man demanded €15 from us for the night, or €10 if we wanted to go for a walk. I do not recommend it.

We thought about stopping here for the night but left late afternoon because we didn't like it here. It's a large unpaved area, quite dusty but opposite the beach. We paid the guy 3€. Possible to walk into Málaga. When we came back the area was full, so obviously popular for daytime parking.

Not the parking, but there is a drinking-water fountain next to the Burger King opposite, on the esplanade.

I give it 1 star because I cannot give it 0!!! Do not stay there; there are people asking for money who knock on your door in the middle of the night. They have a very bad reputation and seem to be looking for trouble.

Large carpark close to the beach. The fake parking attendants are a hassle but just stand your ground. I asked him to provide ID to prove he was a government employee in charge of the parking lot and that shut him up. It's currently €5 for the day or €10 for overnight but see above.

Large, well-located parking area, but there is a fake yellow-vest attendant who tries to charge you for your stay. If you arrive late and leave early in the morning, you will not meet him.

Wannabe parking attendant

The only advantage is that the parking lot is large and close to the beach. The huge disadvantage is that the police still have done nothing about the dark-skinned man who stands there in a yellow shirt and collects parking fees—€1, claiming that it is government property. We gave him the €1 to make him leave us alone and told him we knew the parking was free. He replied, “The internet is one thing, but reality is another,” which sounded somewhat threatening.

Reasonable place to park. As soon as we drove up, a man in a yellow vest immediately came to collect money. I, a woman, was behind the wheel. The man was sitting in the dining area, not visible from outside. I refused to pay, so he tried to pull open the door. Of course it was locked... My husband, 1.97 m tall, then got out and walked around the camper toward the man, who ran away.

One star is too much for this place ! If you are solo, young, or female traveler don’t go here! There is a fake guard who wants parking money. If you don’t pay he gets super angry and aggressive. He tried to intimidate us and slammed at our car! We were really scared. Our neighbors paid €3 but he was so angry and scary we left. Also the place is full of trash.

This is a free parking lot. There is often a self-appointed guard. A yellow vest is enough to create the illusion.
