Trewall Hill, PL11 3DS, Torpoint
Been here?
A spacious hilltop farm campsite with striking views over Looe and the sea, but it is not opening during 2026. When operating, it offers toilets, showers and a walk of about a quarter of an hour to the village, restaurants and shops. The pitches are on a hill and the route to the beach is steep. The listed price is £20 per night for two people with a camper.

Due to circumstances, they have decided not to open this season (2026)! Of course, that is a great shame, because it is in a fantastic location! Moreover, the people are very friendly! Hopefully they can open again next season…
Nice views! Perfect bathrooms. Quite Hilly to get down to the beach. But really nice sunsets and a Stunning view.
Fantastic!! The road is a little narrow for the last 2 km. Our vehicle is 2.35 m wide and 6.80 m long; we just fit between the hedges along the road, but it is absolutely worth it. A wonderful view from a flat meadow where you can stay. It was not planned, but we will stay more than one night!
An incredible spot: The view is splendid, and the site is on a farm; we were surrounded by sheep. The toilets are clean, and the owner is very kind.
Arrived expecting to stay for 2 nights, saw the view and booked 5! Stunning view but this comes at a cost if it's windy. We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine. Facilities are clean and well kept. Cracking pub with good food and great beer right on the sea front, it's a steep trek back up though. Paul the owner is super friendly. We expect to return.
are over here on a thursday 14:00 rang the owner (Paul) from the number on the gate and he came out for a chat and told us to pick one of the 21 pitches , stunning views down over Looe and the sea on 2 sides of us. only 4 pitches taken great clean hot showers and toilets , wash up facility’s . Narrow roads to get here so take your time when driving. absolutely beautiful place to stay for a night or a week £20
Super nice place to stay, with an astonishing view! The owner is super friendly and relaxed. Clean sanitary with warm water. Officially the campsite opens up from the first of july, but it's OK to just show up, and you will be let in. Fresh eggs for sale, 25p each. No electricity. We were with 2 vans, 3 persons and 1 dog, costs were 35 pounds. Very narrow entry road.
Great campsite with an unbelievably beautiful view of Downderry Bay and Looe. The sanitary facilities are small but brand new and cleverly designed. The hot water works perfectly! There is more than enough space for 21 motorhomes, plus tents in a separate area. Mobile reception is excellent by English standards, and the price is fair, with a slight discount for solo travelers. Top campsite!
One of the most beautiful farm campsites in Cornwall! Spacious pitches, all with wonderful views of the sea and countryside. Toilets and showers are clean. The owner is extremely nice and regularly came by to check that everything was okay. Thank you, we will be back!
Wonderful views of the sea and fields. Quiet, clean campsite. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and an incredible starry sky. Super-nice host couple. Clean sanitary facilities with hot water. Drinking water right at the pitch. Fantastic place at a fair £20 per night for two people with a motorhome.
Called to see if there was any availability, we’re closed but said we were happy to come and stay the night. Lovely couple, good facilities - nice hot shower and clean toilets. Couldn’t ask for more really! £20 for the night in our campervan. Would highly recommend!!
Great spot, great views , great host! Stayed here 17.9.24 - wonderful sunset and full moon - very quiet spot next to a field of sheep. Breakfast overlooking the sea - panoramic vista! Excellent facilities - toilets and showers immaculate. Eggs for sale on site. Pay cash if you can.
what an amazing place!! Toilets, showers, everything there and very clean, what more could you want... Paul is very friendly and helpful, we paid 23 pounds for our camper for two people and a dog per night, which is absolutely great! Thank you very much for this wonderful place
A quick call to the owner and you can drive up; he comes by later to collect payment, cash or card. £21 for two people, one dog and a van. There is a pub about 1.5 km away on the beach, with a very steep footpath down. Wonderfully beautiful view!! Showers and toilets are perfectly adequate.
Superb view. Very friendly welcome. Worth visiting if you are passing through.
We stayed here for one night. No electricity, only four pitches, but there are two showers, a washing-up area with two sinks, and the best view in the world. Two adults, two teenagers, one dog and a campervan for £30. Super-friendly owner. Card payment is possible, although he prefers cash. We would come back anytime!
Amazing view and nice owner! Cash only! The drive up from Downderry via Narkurs to the campsite is not recommended! Even with our smaller motorhome, 5.3 m long and 3 m high, it was an adventure because two cars came toward us and there was no room to pass. Our vehicle struggled and made it, but we were sweating. Better not drive up from the coast!
Lots of space and a great view! Shower and toilet clean and in good condition. You can buy fresh eggs on site!
