Simply wow! The approach is certainly more challenging when oncoming traffic appears, but it is definitely manageable even with larger campers. Once at the top, we could not stop marveling. Wonderful free site. There are two access roads uphill: before passing through Chiesanuova, the road on the left is steeper and narrower. The easier route is the little road Via Strole, which leads through the village and uphill. We were alone there during the week and enjoyed absolute peace. I drove up with my 7 meter motorhome.. not recommended if you're not a good driver. for sure not in winter time now.. luckily I only had bit snow on not too steep part.. some corners are very steep and short. was slipping alot going up.. but for sure worth it

Beautiful camper area with all services free of charge. Excellent spot during the week, but not recommended on summer weekends because of the paragliding launch site.✦Translating

I spent last weekend there with a 6-meter van, among paragliding, food and relaxation. As I expected, the toilets and water are still closed. Free electricity, spectacular views and the launch point 10 meters away. The road is rather challenging with large vehicles.✦Translating

Steep road but doable. I drove up with a 6.20 meter camper. Paraglides all day. Magical place!

If you’re brave enough to tackle the road up the reward is more than worth it. One of the best free park ups I’ve been to so far in Italy. Mind blowing views and para gliders some days to watch. Amazing really cool giant bench installation up there to sit, feel tiny and look out for miles. But seriously be careful on the road it’s not for big vehicles, lots of bad turns & few passing places.

Picnic area and camper area. Breathtaking view over the plain from the Ivrea moraine amphitheater to Pont, Alpette and the first mountains of Gran Paradiso. For campers: from Chiesanuova there are two roads; I strongly recommend the less steep one, Via Strole.
