Camping Sainte-Thècles**

We are in Valloire in Savoie, and what a pleasure to see a municipality that welcomes motorhome users! No blanket prohibitions, free service area, human-scale campsite… We tested it this winter with our ADRIA van for snow camping and now in summer: approved! And naturally, we are happy to spend money where we are welcomed so well.✦Translating

Magnificent setting. Pleasant town: swimming pool, ice rink… Good when you are with young children. Beautiful, pleasant, clean campsite. Lovely hikes. We will come back.✦Translating

We spent one night there; there were few motorhomes in June. Avoid the pitches on the right edge of the campsite. The river is very close, and if the flow is strong, you may be disturbed by the noise.✦Translating

Great campsite. Very kind staff, bread service available every morning by ordering at reception, decent sanitary block, and very hot showers. Shuttle 50m away to reach the centre and ski room available on request. Large room available with free billiards and table football.✦Translating

Perfect campsite for motorhomes, with electricity and large pitches. Sanitary facilities are a little old-fashioned but clean; washing machine, dryer, ski room, communal room with billiards and table football. Close to the town centre and ski departures. The campsite is 10 minutes from the centre; a shuttle is available. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Bread delivery at reception, very convenient. The sanitary facilities are adequate. Beautiful ski room with lockable lockers. A very good stay for us.✦Translating

Pleasant campsite; the sanitary facilities deserve renovation: no privacy, cleanliness not perfect, aging installations. A second sanitary block would not be too much given the size of the campsite. The pitches, however, are very spacious and pleasant.✦Translating

We came for one night and stayed four. Well-located, clean campsite, suitable pitches even for large motorhomes. Good welcome. Full in the evening in August, so arrive late morning. Straw sculpture exhibition at Les Verneys accessible by bus for €2 per day.✦Translating

CP Valloire offers a very good starting point for bike and hiking tours. Also a good motorcycle stop for the Col du Galibier/Col du Télégraphe. Unisex sanitary facilities, condition adequate, with toilet seat and toilet paper—what more could you want? We had free choice of pitch. Local establishments in town are easily accessible on foot.✦Translating

Pleasant campsite, good value for money. At this time of year you can choose your pitch, and if, like me, you enjoy falling asleep to the gentle sound of the stream, it is a real plus! Close to shops and hiking trails: five well-deserved stars!✦Translating

Stopover campsite, friendly welcome, with large grassy pitches; we were allowed to choose. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean, and the hot water came back… Well located for departures to the town centre or hiking trails. I recommend it.✦Translating

We are here during winter: large pitches, 230V is fine, sanitary facilities are old but do what they need to do, very hot shower, ski room, bread service, friendly staff, good for walking the dog. Not far from the ski lift and free shuttle.✦Translating

Camping in the heart of Valloire with pitches well separated by hedges. However, the sanitary facilities are filthy!! Not cleaned all weekend and really old. The worst we have come across so far.✦Translating
