€28, not the advertised price. The lady told me the pool was not working. Then the shower was cold. The same applied to washing dishes. That was too much for me, so I asked for a small commercial gesture, which she refused to give me. I was embarrassed for her. I will of course file a complaint with higher authorities, because it is unacceptable to pay so much for only a pitch. The sanitary facilities were dirty.

Lovely, well-run site with a pool and small shop. Large pitches. Toilet and shower block, plus a dishwashing area.

I would like to respond to everyone who commented on this campsite. We arrived on June 20, 2026, and the office was closed. They let us in because it was very hot. With the ACSI card, we paid only €17, including a pool that was over 30°C. We were there during the heatwave. The staff are very pleasant. Nothing to complain about—a very good rating for this price.

Very nice, quiet site with extremely friendly staff. The showers and toilets in the rear area are somewhat dated, but always clean! Good starting point for cycling trips to Colmar and Breisach. Bread roll/bread service included.

The site gives a relatively good impression, although many areas are neglected. In our view, the sanitary facilities are catastrophic—old, poorly maintained, and far from inviting. The price is good, but despite having paid in advance, it prompted us to leave immediately. During our visit, the rear sanitary facilities were also locked with a “defective” notice.

Very nice site. Very quiet. Well located for cycling tours. The sanitary facilities could use some modernization, but they are perfectly fine for the price. If the site is full, all sanitary blocks should be open. We will return.

We arrived at the campsite at 6 p.m. and there was no one at reception. I found an envelope with the access code. The area had only one light to illuminate the spaces and paths. The ground was muddy, and I got stuck; it was extremely difficult to get out with a 7.25-meter motorhome. I paid a €39 deposit for a three-night stay, but left in the morning. They did not demand anything else.

Despite it being high season, in early December, we had many pitches available. If you booked online, you can check in without going to reception, which is a great advantage—you can enter whenever you like. Entry and exit are by code, so there are no opening hours. The only reason I am not giving more stars is that the pitches were quite muddy because it was winter and freezing at night. They were also not very level, and there were few electrical points. Even so, it worked very well for me. Clean showers and hot water.

Three stars because there are only two toilets. The showers are old but included in the price and pleasantly warm. Reception in English and French, staffed only in the mornings. Check the pitches carefully beforehand, otherwise you can easily get stuck. Very quiet at night.

We arrived at 4:30 p.m.; there was no reception, but they were reachable by phone. As mentioned previously, only two toilets were available, there was no lighting in the evening, and everything looked rather shabby. We found €25 too much for a motorhome with two people and electricity.

Hello, just to report that the mayor of Neuf-Brisach has signed a decree banning motorhomes and camper vans in the town. Truly disappointing.

I agree with some comments: the sanitary facilities need renovating. It was the pool that attracted us, but unfortunately there was a power failure when we arrived, so the pool was closed because the filtration system was down. That said, the campsite is quiet, and Neuf-Brisach, a ten-minute walk away, is indeed worth visiting. We went to Fusion restaurant: simple and good.

There are only two showers in the three sanitary blocks! Run-down, a gravel path full of holes—trying to make something new out of something old, the French way! I am ashamed of my country!

Campsite very well located for cycling and sightseeing. Premature closing at 6 p.m., although they provide the access code and pitches are freely chosen. Comfortable grass pitches. Electricity sometimes requires a very long extension cord. Nice pool. Downside: sanitary facilities are inadequate and outdated. Gray-water disposal is in the middle of the road. Modernization of the facilities is essential.

Simple campsite in a beautiful green setting. The showers and toilets are older but were always clean. New small pool. Ideal for cycling tours or visiting Colmar. Shops are within walking distance. We liked it here, so we will return.

Great campsite. Plenty of shaded spots. Two people with a motorhome and dog cost us just over €26 for one night.

Pitch and maintenance are adequate. Only five showers with hot water out of thirteen (one sanitary block with three showers was closed). There are not enough water points around the campsite for filling cans or bottles.

The campsite is not overpriced—we paid €31.44 for one night for two adults and two children—but the pitch was not very clean. Papers and cups had been left on the ground. I get the impression that there are not many people working at this campsite, hence the less-than-perfect cleanliness. It does the job for one night.

Quiet, peaceful, pleasant campsite. Everything is spotless. It is 500 meters from Neuf-Brisach, which is worth visiting. La Fusion restaurant is also worth stopping at.

Excellent campsite. We stayed there in a motorhome for two nights. The pool is superb. I highly recommend this campsite.

This campsite is well located for visiting Neuf-Brisach, at the foot of the ramparts, and for cycling along the canals or the Rhine. Breisach am Rhein in Germany is a 20-minute bike ride away and is well worth visiting, especially its church. Beautiful views over the Rhine from above! The campsite is old-fashioned and poorly maintained throughout. Not worth the price (€23 for two people without electricity on July 20).

Campsite not particularly well maintained, with rather few electrical points; bring extension cords of at least 25–30 meters. The sanitary facilities are aging. Great location: the town is right outside the campsite and so is the cycle path. The pitches are large!

Positive: quiet location, free choice of pitch, friendly staff who speak English. Negative: few shaded pitches; with bad luck, the electricity is more than 25 meters away; food truck closed; children’s playground closed; sanitary facilities only partly open and unattractive, with only those at reception being acceptable. Construction work starts just before eight in the morning. The site seems somewhat neglected, with many trees having dry branches and hedges and bushes ragged rather than trimmed. Not for us again.

Campsite without any heart. The second sanitary building was closed. The swimming pool was unfinished. The food truck was not open during Pentecost. Only three women’s toilets and four showers in a pitiful condition. Pitches poorly maintained. Paths muddy and unlit. No garbage bins on the pitches, only containers in front of the campsite, not lit in the evening. The bread service had a poor selection. Never again. Too expensive.

Nice, simple campsite; you really do not need more. Almost directly beside the moat of the Vauban fortress. Ideal for visiting Neuf-Brisach and taking the bus to Colmar. Very clean sanitary facilities. Some paths become extremely muddy in wet weather. Baguettes and other items can be pre-ordered.

Nice little campsite, idyllically secluded with many trees. Rental cabins and tents are available. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated and there are too few toilets, but they are usually clean; the showers are perfectly fine. A pool is currently being built (May 2025). We stayed at short notice for a long weekend and paid €45 for a motorhome, three people, and three nights. We would return, or use it as a stopover. Neuf-Brisach, a former fortified town, is within walking distance.

Pleasant, quiet campsite, a short walk between Neuf-Brisach (a sort of Bourtange) and Volgelsheim. Friendly staff, somewhat dated but clean sanitary facilities. In Volgelsheim there is an Intermarché and the departure point for the steam train, whose journey can possibly be combined with a boat trip on the Rhine. Neuf-Brisach has a medium-sized Carrefour that is also open on Sundays, with limited hours.

In winter there is no reception, no toilets, and no water. It is fine for spending the night, as many people do, but otherwise there is not much to it, especially since they charge you simply for staying overnight.
