You can stop here if you arrive when there are not many cars. The centre is a 15-minute walk along a pleasant riverside promenade.
Large, secure car park, perfect for visiting the city.
We spent a very peaceful night... Perhaps because it was Good Friday...
A place for seeing the city and little else. This site is not for overnight stays, and, if you ask me, neither is the whole town.
Free dirt parking very close to the centre. There are recycling containers outside.
Fine parking area within walking distance of the centre. We did not stay overnight because we were passing through. That would have been possible, though. There were still plenty of parking spaces when we were there.
We spent a peaceful night here. At first it does not inspire confidence, but because of the reviews and the fact that there were about four cars, we stayed. Fifteen minutes from the centre. Perfect Sunday-afternoon walk, with all the shops open because it was December 7, and a quiet university area with friendly people walking around. Shops nearby, and later there were 15 cars spending the night.
The parking area is very good at this time of year, with enough space, close to the centre and a supermarket. Quiet night. Thanks to the town council.
Very large car park; we spent one night. Some traffic in the evening and morning, but a quiet night. Town centre not far away, with a cycle path. We came on May 1, 2025.
I have parked here several times and occasionally spent the night, but it is currently no longer a safe area. My window was smashed and I was robbed in broad daylight, and several other motorhomes were targeted over those days. These thefts are still happening. There are no nearby cameras or any security. I do not recommend it, even for two hours, if you have a motorhome.
It is true that it is close to the town centre, but when we returned, we noticed that our side window had been forced and that cars had had their windows smashed in the middle of the afternoon. It does not make you want to stay!
