Been here?
A canal-side pub stopover at the Navigation Inn, with a flat car park that can accommodate 2 -3 motorhomes and CCTV coverage. Parking is free when you use the pub, which serves traditional English and Indian food, with most mains priced at £12 - £14. The staff are welcoming, and the canal is moments away. The site is beside a busy road and railway line; trains are infrequent, while road traffic becomes busy from 7am.

Lovely pub, moments walk away from a canal. by a busyish daytime road and close to a railway line. The trains are infrequent. Great choice of food, both English and Indian. Reasonably priced (a main is mostly £12 - £14.) secluded beer garden. Very attentive and friendly staff who really want to please. No need to book either a car space but obviously wise to check before you pitch up.
Now under new ownership and open for overnight stopovers. CCTV covers parking. Pub now serves an Indian menu and traditional food from the bar and/or restaurant. Car Park can easily take 2 -3 motorhomes if you arrive early. All staff are very welcoming and look forward to new visitors. I've stayed here several times before and wish the new owners all the best with their new venture.
This location is reported as being closed at this moment in time and cannot be contacted by telephone. i believe the owners have moved on to another location.
Really great stop over.. very welcoming pub, we phoned ahead and booked a table, excellent menu choice and delicious food… pretty flat car park, some traffic and train noise, but good nights sleep… easy access from motorway great stopover

Excellent stopover. Very friendly staff, excellent food.
Excellent welcome from the pub manager and the locals! We had a great time at the pub with them and a good night's sleep in the parking area.
Very friendly owners, great communication about our stop over and lovely food enjoyed in the pub. No problem with noise and they accommodated our large motorhome without any fuss. I have a feeling this will become a regular stopover for us when visiting family in the area
Lovely quiet location. Pub owner allowed us to park for the night if we cam in for a drink. Relatively close to the M5. Stopped overnight heading to Devon from Scotchland.
