Free farm meadow, self-contained only

Very beautiful location. Good cycle paths to Wildeshausen and the Goldenstedt Moor. Really lovely people and a very quiet location. Close to the Hunte. The chickens are very friendly and the eggs delicious. No mobile signal. Very good for switching off. Only the horses look rather glum ;-)) We, who love solitude, liked it very much. I’m giving this 5 stars as the friendly host provides this picturesque place for free and thank you for that. If your an early riser then the cockerels at 5am won’t be an issue. The phone signal is minimal but we did enjoy a cycle down to goldenstedt, where there is a very reasonable bar with food and drink so we could download some tv. A lot more bars looked available in summer.

You need to be self-sufficient, then this is a wonderful place. The chickens roam freely here and there is no traffic disturbance. You can completely relax. Thank you for the stay; we left a donation in the birdhouse on the tree with garlands.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night as a stopover with our caravan and can only recommend it. The hosts are very nice and the place is simply beautiful, clean and quiet. We will definitely come back! P.S.
