Quarry entrance, lorry traffic

This gravel parking area near Siccar Point has mostly level spaces, although longer vans may have difficulty. It is at the opening of a working quarry, and there is no view from the car park. Lorries use the road until around 8pm, while a recent stay reported a bad smell from rotting harvested crops. There are no services and no EE signal.

Didn’t even stop here. The photos are very misleading. There’s no view from the car park and you are just at the opening of a working quarry. No signal on EE.
Parking area was mostly level, although I could see it being a problem for longer vans (we are swb). Quiet stay, lorries only travelling on road until ~8pm. Recently harvested crops had started to rot so there was a bad smell in the air, atleast it was too cold to need the windows open!
Exactly as in the previous feedback. The ground is not level, hence four stars.
Nice spot but wouldn't stay here for the night again due to factory workers sounding their horn throughout the night. Definitely the noisiest place we have stayed at so far.

Well, here you must not be too demanding. I imagine that during the holidays there will no longer be any space for the hiking trail departure. What a shame.
On a bank holiday weekend, St Abb’s Harbour is £20, about five miles down the road. Here, a free night with three vans, no worries. Workers from the nearby factory walked past, and there were occasional lorries until 6 p.m.
Nice view from the van showing the walk to Siccar Point, the carpark is gravel and after a bit we managed to find a semi flat spot, we stayed last night (Sat) and found it to be pretty quiet with only a few tractors and lorries going past, after 6pm it was very quiet. Some ramblers, dog walkers and workers from the nearby factory walking past, all very friendly, I'd stay there again.
