A very remote lakeside spot on the Pastiras reservoir, with beautiful views and several-day stays possible. A 4x4 is essential, with deep ruts, a very bumpy track, and a steep, muddy approach to the water. The lake is clean enough for swimming, but the shore is marshy and muddy. Fishing, campfires, and quiet nights are possible.

A 4x4 is essential even in dry weather: there are numerous deep ruts and the access track is very bumpy. The descent to the water’s edge is not easy; take the right-hand track from the main trail. The area beside the water is quite steep and access to the water is marshy and muddy. There is some rubbish, so we did not stay.Translating
