This is a small picnic area 15 minutes from Kastoria, surrounded by forest and shade, suitable for camping or a peaceful day. Water is available, and a bakery is available in the village. The gravel access road is unsuitable for larger campers, although the paved route through the nearby village is suitable for larger vehicles. Bears may visit at night, so keep rubbish inside and return to your vehicle before dark.

Excellent natural and peaceful spot. One of the locals warned me that there are often bears around here, and indeed we had visitors during the night. Stay vigilant, do not leave any garbage outside, and return to your vehicles before nightfall to enjoy the spectacle safely.
