A small, quiet parking area at the edge of a shaded forest, with an information board, picnic table and bin. It provides access to walking routes and panoramic views, although dead branches hang above the parking area during windy weather. Parking is prohibited from 23-5.

Very beautiful, quiet place to stay. We came here to escape the heat; the forest is ideal for that. We were struck by how quiet it is here. We did not spend the night because we like waking up to a view, and in the forest you naturally do not have one. But perhaps one day we will. Great spot!
Beautiful, quiet parking area on the edge of a small walking forest with magnificent beeches and oaks. There are some dead branches in the trees above the parking area, so it is better not to park there in strong winds. A great base for admiring the wall hangings in Oudenaarde.
