This place is currently unusable because of construction. They are rebuilding all the parking areas, which are inaccessible. Too bad, because the site is magnificent! We had to continue on our way.

Currently a construction site, so there are hardly any parking spaces. The construction fencing also makes it very unattractive.

Beautiful place, but limited because of construction work. Everything is available as described.

Lovely quiet spot next to the river. Some wonderful nature trails over the “friendship bridge” - and a great Artic Circle vista can be seen from the viewing tower at the top of the hill. BBQ huts, Toilets (composting) and bins are available.

Excellent spot. There are three parking areas: just after turning off the road in a depression, then along the path by the suspension bridge, and by the timber storage area opposite in the forest. In winter it is very popular with groups watching the northern lights, so expect traffic until midnight. The barbecue huts are great, and the river is wonderful.

Very quiet forest campsite despite being close to the road. Great starting point for hikes. Fire pits and rubbish bins are available.

Alright for one night. Busy year-round.

Very popular even outside the season. Level spaces, relatively private. Two clean dry toilets, and containers for sorted and unsorted waste. You can hear road noise, but it does not disturb sleep.

Road noise, but a great spot when the weather is rainy. Bin at the end of the path. Barbecue and tables by the river.

A really beautiful place for barbecuing and also for overnight stays. We recommend it.

Nice place to stay overnight, with several small parking bays where you can have some privacy. Pleasant walking trails with dogs.

Great place for the night or for walking. Lots of mosquitoes and you can hear the road, but this did not bother us. Good internet.

Much too crowded, so we moved on.

A somewhat dirty, busy and noisy area, okay for one night while passing through, but not for staying. Lots of people barbecuing. A motorhome parked right next to our window; please don’t do that!!

Wonderful place with small parking bays. There are also great barbecue facilities, with plenty of firewood available. Excellent for dogs too, as you can go on short walks directly from here. The road is audible at night and heavily trafficked, but it did not bother us much. Although there are two composting toilets, some people clearly do not know how to use them... such a shame.

Great place, with laavu shelters nearby for making a fire, which is fantastic! Slightly beside the road; you can hear trucks passing, but it is not bothersome.
