Holzgartenstraße 18, 93059, Regensburg
Been here?
This is a small gravel parking area with a backyard character, offering three designated camper spaces near Regensburg’s centre. The front space is approximately 8 meters long, while the two rear spaces are approximately 10 meters long; campers under 5.50 meters pay 5 € less. A recent stay cost 20 € cash including electricity, although the free Wi-Fi is weak. A supermarket with bakery is 20 meters away, and the Stone Bridge is about 15 minutes on foot.

Great business model! We really liked the friendliness and the pleasant neighborhood with like-minded people. A wonderful opportunity to explore the city! We could not find anywhere what hours the site may be occupied. Perhaps this could be added to the welcome text? We were almost a little worried about overstaying our welcome.
The pitch is ideally located for visiting the city center. I can confirm its backyard character, although the operator makes a great effort with the place. The Wi-Fi is weak, but what do you expect when it is free? Nevertheless, I recommend it.
Great pitch, especially thanks to Bill. He welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt comfortable. Borrowing the bicycles was also uncomplicated. The location is excellent and, above all, quiet. We highly recommend it.
Excellent place for exploring Regensburg. The city center is only a 15-minute walk away. Bill was there to welcome us. Very friendly and nice. €20 cash, including electricity. Gladly again!
We stayed for two nights. Everything was as described. We received a warm welcome and all our questions were answered immediately. Very central, with a Netto supermarket just around the corner and freshly baked rolls in the morning. A hidden gem if you want to explore Regensburg.
Overall, a good alternative for staying here. We found it very good for one night. Gladly again. Uwe and Sabine.
Very friendly and helpful operator. Everything you need is there. I do not understand the reviews giving fewer than five stars.
Small but nice. The pitch is very close to the old town, five minutes by bicycle. A supermarket is directly opposite. There are only a few spaces, but if you arrive early you have a good chance. Nice, relaxed campers from all over Europe.
It is only a gravel backyard, but I can warmly recommend this place. In five minutes by bicycle you are in the middle of the city. For €20 including electricity, it is perfectly reasonable. The operator is very friendly and helpful.
Everything as described. Very pleasant and friendly contact. The pitch is ideally located for visiting the old town. We felt comfortable and would gladly return.
Everything as described, excellent for visiting Regensburg. The Stone Bridge is about a 15-minute walk away.
We are here over Christmas and everything went smoothly. Excellent description!
Great option for staying in Regensburg, with a stress-free approach. Friendly welcome and instructions. There is a place to walk the dog directly on the Regen River, just a stone's throw away. Thank you!
Great option for visiting Regensburg, since the city does not offer anything similar. Very nice people and very helpful. Gladly again.
Not beautiful, but perfectly fine for one night. We liked the proximity to the city center and the nice cinema just around the corner.
Thank you, dear Bill, for the friendly welcome and for providing the pitch. We felt comfortable and slept well. The beautiful city center, with its many lovely lanes, shops, and restaurants, is about a 20-minute walk away. We would definitely stay with you again if we are ever nearby.
Excellent value for money. Hot and cold water available. We felt safe. Not far from the old town.
Excellent for spending the night; we slept without any disturbance. Convenient for visiting the very beautiful city center. You can use the washing machine.
Good parking, very quiet and relatively close to the city. Electricity and water filling available; it is better to have adapters. €20. Very kind owner.
Good place to stay when visiting the old town. Only a 10–15 minute walk to the city. Grocery shop right outside. Wonderful man who runs the place; he is very nice. Feels safe and secure. The only available service is electricity.
On our arrival, the owner welcomed us and explained everything, including where to park, electricity, and water. I had the pleasure of offering him a coffee and we had a little chat. Quiet place with a supermarket opposite. Twenty minutes' walk from the center. Highly recommended.
Very nice operator! Ideally located for sightseeing, about a 10–15 minute walk. Electricity available as described. €20 for a place so close to the city is completely justified. The downside is that it is very, very noisy. The multi-lane main road, which does not get quieter at night, is only a few meters from the backyard.
Close to the city center, friendly operator. Much of it operates on trust, which is increasingly rare. So do not abuse that trust!
Everything as described! The beautiful city is easily reachable on foot, and it is also a great starting point for bike trips. Thanks to the private operator for this opportunity to explore Regensburg. Unfortunately, the city of Regensburg offers nothing comparable.
Great place! €20 for vehicles over 6 meters, €15 up to 6 meters. The city center is quickly reachable; the Danube Cycle Path is just around the corner. Three spaces available, although one evening there were ultimately six motorhomes. The electricity cuts out when you switch on a kettle, so it is only usable for lighting. Netto supermarket directly next door.
