Been here?
A gravel motorhome area at Spiken marina, well placed for exploring the fishing village, shops, restaurants and surrounding countryside. A pitch costs 35€ and includes electricity, WLAN and CamperClean. The area is generally quiet, but the gravel can be dusty, and the onsite sanitary facilities are sparse for the number of pitches. Harbour toilets and showers are also available.

Very nice and quiet camper area at night. If you arrive early, you may find a pitch overlooking the marina; otherwise, there are various spaces inside. You can use the harbour facilities. Convenient for visiting the castle by bike or taking lovely nature walks.Translating
The parking area is well located and a good base for exploring the area. However, the continuous gravel surface makes it rather unattractive and uninviting. The sanitary facilities directly at the site are somewhat sparse for the number of pitches and smell slightly unpleasant.Translating
Good gravel pitch with electricity. Sanitary facilities very clean; only two toilets for all pitches is a bit few, but you can use the harbour toilets and showers. In June, before the main holidays, we had a wonderful stay with about ten other motorhomes, including a meal in the restaurant and fresh fish from the fish shop. Very peaceful place to relax.Translating
We found it absolutely fine, as it was still outside the season. The €35 price includes electricity, Wi-Fi and a CamperClean toilet disposal system. The site is very clean and everything is quiet. I was concerned it might be too touristy, but that did not prove to be the case. Dogs are welcome too.Translating
Far too expensive considering the services available here. One shower on the other side of the marina, which is public, is supposed to serve all motorhomes and boats. The same hose is used to fill fresh water and flush grey/black water. So disgusting. The location and small shops probably bring many people here, but it is definitely not worth the fee.Translating
We spent a quiet night with six other motorhomes. Two years ago, the municipality extensively expanded and improved the site with service points, toilets, showers and a washing machine. The site is managed by the yacht club. In my opinion, the prices criticized here are set by the municipality and are reasonable considering the investment.Translating
The advance promise is not fulfilled here: a badly dusty gravel lot for cars, which also makes sitting outside unpleasant—a major minus! Today, the food venues in the area also closed unusually early at 4 p.m., even though there were plenty of people present, so be prepared to cook for yourself! The area is naturally very beautiful, but the services and unsuitable surface ruin the place. One expensive night is enough!Translating
Simply a top-class place! Everything is available.Translating
Beautiful place. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. Washing machine available for 20 SEK. Pleasant neighbourhood. There were many campers now, in the low season, so I can imagine it being very busy in summer. We cycled around the beautiful surroundings.Translating
Not recommended—too expensive for the services provided, 350 SEK. With electricity, absolutely not worth it!!!!!Translating
I can understand Alex's comment. The site has been beautifully prepared, but when all 50 motorhomes arrive, it becomes a campsite rather than a cosy motorhome stop. That also puts us off!Translating
Recommended for one night; longer if you only need peace and quiet. There could be more toilets for the many guests.Translating
We were here in June 2022; it was an authentic little motorhome stop, fitting the small town. It was idyllic. Now we have returned, but unfortunately everything is purely tourist-oriented. The town has completely lost its charm. The site now has room for about 50 motorhomes. Many large vehicles spread out and camp there. Not for us anymore, so we drove on.Translating
Nice place. Sufficient sanitary facilities—we counted five showers. You have to walk a little, but that does not matter.Translating
Not the world's finest motorhome stop, but we are not here to sit by the motorhome. The restaurants out on the headland and the surroundings make it worth at least one night. Fresh toilets.Translating
Really a top spot. I don't understand how people can complain about such a fantastic place, with a view over the lake. We ate delicious fish and had a refreshing shower. Excellent shower. The toilets are also really clean; everything is new. You pay 350 SEK for a pitch with electricity and 300 SEK without electricity, so it is a little more expensive, but another great feature is that you can have your toilet cassette cleaned for free.Translating
If you like touristy places, this is exactly right. Little service and high fees. Wi-Fi does not work; powered pitches cost 350 SEK, and you have to walk at least 500 metres to reach a single shower, which you also have to share with the sailors. Completely excessive. We will not return to this site.Translating
Newly designed site with a great location at the harbour, with restaurants and toilets. Electricity is not finished yet, but there is brand-new disposal with CamperClean. On the area's hiking trails, you can find many dreamlike swimming spots on the lake.Translating
The location is great and very clean. The harbourmaster comes in the evening to collect payment. Electricity is being installed. Swimming from the pontoon is possible. Nice food options, bread rolls and barbecue at the kiosk.Translating
Great view and clean sanitary facilities, but today we paid 300 SEK without electricity, which is still under construction, and we consider that expensive. After speaking with the harbourmaster, the season started yesterday and the site costs 300 SEK all summer. However, the price is not yet displayed on site.Translating
Very nicely located, newly created motorhome site. Waste and water facilities are available and modern; electricity is still being installed. Sanitary facilities are clean and accessible. As the motorhome area was full, the parking spaces could also be used. Someone comes in the evening to collect payment. 200 SEK is reasonable. Fish restaurant and other small shops on site. Läckö, a beautiful castle, is reachable by bike in 10 minutes.Translating
Very nice, newly created motorhome site. Not yet completed; the electricity supply has not been installed. Waste and water facilities are available. Well-maintained showers and toilets at the harbour. A friendly man comes to collect payment between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m.; currently 200 SEK. The small harbour has pleasant restaurants and little shops. Worth a visit!Translating
There is much more than 15 pitches now. No more construction work. Disposal and water facilities are available. The rubbish bin was overflowing. But there was no information anywhere about the current price. We drove on.Translating
Very beautiful little fishing village. The pitches are currently still under construction, 200 SEK per night. The harbourmaster comes at 7 p.m.; you can also pay him 20 SEK for washing, including the dryer. Pitches directly by the water among the reeds. Credit-card payment possible. Showers and toilet about 70 metres away, opposite by the harbour. Harbour Wi-Fi works very well. Otherwise, almost no reception (O2). The castle is not far away.Translating
Construction work is currently taking place, but the view of the water is still beautiful. The site has become more expensive: currently 200 SEK, but when everything is finished it will cost 350 SEK.Translating
A lovely little place, but since the motorhome pitches are at the back of the car park, the view of the water is limited and it is very shady. The paid motorhome pitches should be moved to the front rows so the sun can be enjoyed and the view improved. It was too shady and damp for us, so we drove on.Translating
Nice enough place for a night. Clean showers in the harbour building. WiFi password is 23456789 if you need it before the harbour master comes by.Translating
The showers and toilets are very clean. The people in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The view is wonderful and Läckö Castle is only 10 minutes away by bike or car. Definitely worth it.Translating
