This is a small, free roadside parking area beside a forest, with mountain views and benches for picnics. It is suitable for campers up to 6 meters, but offers no services or bins. Nights are generally quiet, although buses use the road early in the morning. The Falzeben cable-car valley station is a few minutes away by car.

Very quiet, with just one small drawback: access is difficult for people unaccustomed to driving at altitude, as I was, at night and in the rain! But what a landscape when we woke up! Apparently wild camping is not really allowed in this region. A cyclist told me to close the overcab bed so I would not be fined, but as stated in the listing, there is no prohibition sign.
It was incredibly beautiful, with no other people and friendly bus drivers who waved at every bend. Loved it!
We spent a quiet night here. There are no rubbish bins, but there are benches. Beautiful view and, fortunately, no litter. I can only recommend it.

This place saved us when all the official sites were full and all other places had no-camping signs. There is room for only a few cars or vans and no services, but it is free, there is no prohibition sign, and the view is breathtaking! There are several benches overlooking the mountains and a nearby hiking trail leading to the cable-car station on the Ifinger. Great place!
Beautiful place to spend a night. You can watch the stars wonderfully here. It is quiet at night, but the bus route starts again quite early on the road directly beside it. That did not bother us. Great view, and there are a few small benches for breakfast too. :D
A wonderful park. Although it is small, it is perfectly suitable for campers up to six meters long. It is very quiet at night even though it is right by the road. Beautiful view. It fits the theme of our blog.
Greatly located spot on a bend, with little traffic. The unevenness can easily be corrected with a stone.
A good, slightly uneven spot where you could also pitch a tent. The view is very beautiful and the road is not disturbing. Unfortunately, there is no water, and you have to look around a little for quiet places to use the toilet.
