Bay overlook, sloping parking

We spent the night with two other vans. The roads are needed to sleep level. Very quiet.

Roadside location on a very quiet road, with a sunset over Douarnenez Bay. The only drawback is that you have to accept sleeping slightly tilted because the spot is not flat.

We spent the night here and it was peaceful, with some traffic but not much. However, the view is not the same as in the second photo. One downside: I had severe allergies because there are really a lot of trees. Magnificent sunset.

A quiet and pleasant spot, with a little path to the beach and a bench facing the magnificent sea. I recommend it.

Magnificent view of the ocean, but the spot is very sloped. Complicated for spending the night. The road to get there is very steep.

Good quiet spot to spend the night. The parking is not flat but manageable. The area is close to the GR coastal hiking trail. There is a limited view from the parking due to trees but a great view a short walk away. It is possible to walk to Plage du Ris, via the road or coast path, from the parking location where there is a toilet block (20 minute walk/ 1.3km).

Great view just a few steps from the spot. Quite a few other motorhomes and vans, but there is room for everyone. Thank you for this place.

Lunch break. Small parking area for this spot, with room for several vehicles, but the view is hidden by trees. We continued along the road to picnic a little farther on, and the view of the bay there really is magnificent.

I spent one night here. The road has very little traffic; I heard only two cars. A wonderfully quiet spot above the bay. I’m waiting for the morning mist to lift so I can enjoy the view before continuing on. Please respect this place and its neighbors so it can remain accessible.

Quiet street, great view, plenty of spaces, slightly sloped but completely manageable! A small forest nearby for morning walks.

Very peaceful meal break and a lovely walk, a good start to the night before Parisians arrived at 3 a.m. to set up next to us without any discretion… slamming doors, talking loudly, moving the car…

Parking spaces with a sea view. Very little traffic on the road indeed; we had a very peaceful night. Slight drawback: the ground is a little sloped.

Quiet, slightly sloped but not bothersome, several spaces for small and large vehicles, beautiful view of the beach, and a little path for walking.

You can reach the large beach with an extraordinary view if you take the small coastal path below, from the end of the parking area. Quiet night, no noise. There were five vans/motorhomes in August, with very friendly people; just respect the neighbors. Please also respect the cleanliness and the wild character of the place.

A superb little quiet spot, and if you make the effort to walk 300 m toward the GR34, there is a superb view of Douarnenez.

The view is pretty, but mainly a little farther away; you can glimpse it through the trees. The parking area is sloped, so we had to park sideways. Quite a bit of traffic late in the day and early in the morning, including honking; the locals probably don’t appreciate it.

We just stopped and left again. Parking beside a small road. The view from the parking area is not great, but if you walk a little, the view really is excellent.

What more can be said than everything that has already been said… We spent the night of August 19, 2023 here. Sublime sunset, extraordinary view, peace and quiet… a dream.
