Riverside waterfall, slippery muddy access

A truly beautiful place—when conditions are right. We warn against driving there when it rains. The clay soil becomes extremely slippery and muddy, and you could get stuck. Check the route on foot beforehand! We only just managed to get out with a Fiat Ducato. In addition, we were sent away by parking rangers, who photographed us and a campfire we had not made. What a shame.

An extraordinary view!! But coming from Madrid, it was probably 20km on dirt roads so I would highly recommend coming at daylight. Was a bit difficult since we made it once the sun went down! It was so peaceful with the water falling and only one car passed us the entire time!! Highly recommend watching sunrise and the starssss

We arrived at the spot around 8 p.m. and were alone. The whole area had probably been flooded recently, as the road was particularly damaged and the entire area was in a terrible state, with branches, stones, and rubbish everywhere. The waterfalls had no water. There were small ponds with green water all around. Assuming it was full of mosquitoes, we did not stay.

Perfect place to sleep. On weekend afternoons, a huge number of people gather here. The only bad thing is that there is no phone signal.

Fantastic place where you can stand right by the river. We were at a section that had been channeled, so you could use a little ladder to get into the water, which is ice-cold! Some villagers occasionally come to the water or walk their dogs; otherwise it is very quiet. You can hear the river flowing. The only drawback is that the place was swarming with flies.

A beautiful place, but there is no phone signal—at least neither my partner nor I had any—which made us feel somewhat unsafe spending the night, as it is also quite far from the road. For these reasons we did not stay overnight, but people with more experience will surely find it a great spot.

Wonderful place! There are many beautiful pitches overlooking the lake, river, or waterfall. Depending on the season, you do not get much sun because of the mountain shade. Once the sun disappears, it quickly becomes chilly (December). The road after the lake is unpaved and bumpy. A Fiat Ducato also fit through the concrete barrier. You are in nature, so there is no fresh water, trash bin, or anything similar. We collected a proper bag of rubbish at the lake; unfortunately, there is a lot. The area toward the waterfall is cleaner.

Incredible place. There are lots of spots with beautiful views; you just need to explore! Be careful: the road has many potholes. Not suitable for motorhomes and not in rainy weather, as you risk getting stuck.

Magical place, flat area facing the waterfall, with the mountains on the other side. We spent an evening under the stars! An extra tip to find it on the first try: the GPS point does not indicate the exact location. As you approach the bridge, there is a sign marked C.H.J.; turn left, then right to reach the beach. The GPS tells you to continue straight.

Magnificent place. We were there only during the day, but it was super peaceful and in a privileged setting.

A perfect 10: views of the waterfall and river. The waterfall stopped flowing around 7:30 p.m., and it was still dry at dawn. We don't know whether it has a schedule; there is a dam. Routes and a lovely riverside walk through the canyons. Plenty of parking and easy access. Keep the place clean; there are few places where we are allowed to stay peacefully with our motorhomes and pets.
