Been here?
This is a large, free and mostly flat car park beside a stream, river walks and a play area. It can be busy with cars during the day but has recently been quiet overnight. Toilets are available for part of the day, with picnic benches, bins and a nearby café open 7 days a week from 9.30am to 4.30pm. A waterfall and dog-walking opportunities are nearby.

Nice to open the door and let the dogs straight out for a run! Was fairly busy with cars Sunday evening but was alone overnight
This is a lovely stop. Massive field with a stream and play area. Great for chilling out during the day and a good night's sleep. Highly recommend, nothing average about here, I've paid for worse. Keeping this in my saved itinerary.
I mean it’s free, flat, there’s a green space and toilet facilities if you need them. Other than that it’s very average, would come back if I needed a place to go but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
Fantastic stay at this free car park. Park with zip wire, plenty of bins, picnic benches, toilets open some of the day, river for paddling and waterfall nearby. Cafe nearby is great. Please leave no trace and take rubbish home if you can as would be a shame to lose this. Large car park and 5 vans stayed, quiet overnight although some road noise - wore earplugs and slept right through.
Great park up, picnic tables, bins, toilets and cafe open 7/7 from 0930 to 1630.
Lovely stopover. Toilets on site, and would have given a 5* but the door to the actual toilet was missing. Walked along the river and over the a68 to a hidden waterfall. Would definitely stay again
Very quiet night, fantastic place to stop.
Good place for an overnight stop. You can hear the adjacent road, but it was very quiet at night. It is best not to arrive too early, as there are still many cars in the car park then. From 5 p.m. onward, the car park empties. The park is good for walking the dog.
We only stopped for lunch, and the place is magnificent. We did not see any sign prohibiting overnight stays, but we think it would be possible to spend a peaceful night.
Nice location by Allensford Holiday Park, with dog walking field opposite & river just beyond. Two level, tarmac/gravel car parks (one leads into the other) alongside a B road, fairly busy during the day, quieter after 8pm but regular use throughout the night, mainly cars though so not too noisy. Good EE signal.
Lovely spot for overnight stay. Some road noise and very poor Vodafone signal, but spent a very peaceful night.
Very nice place with a children's playground and public toilets. Picnic tables and rubbish bins are also available. We spent a very quiet night here.
Very good spot. Toilets accessible during the day.
