Free camper parking on the edge of town, close to the centre and suitable for an overnight stay. The lot is quiet at night and now has 4 working electricity points and a water tap. Park around the outer edges so the helicopter landing pad remains clear for emergencies.

Great spot for an overnight stay at the edge of town. Although it is listed as 'no services', there are 4 working electricity points at the far back of the lot. We recommend parking at the outer edges to keep the helicopter landing pad clear for emergencies. Quiet at night and very close to the center and shops.
What a strange place… but so good to have! Don’t be fooled by the shut gate and lack of signage… just open it and let yourself in! It’s a great spot, just off the main road and quiet! We were the only ones there! There is now a water tap there and it looks like they’ve just started doing electric points but none of them working yet! Watch this space!
Parking area, excellent for a short stop. Free, safe, and fairly quiet at night. A local resident approached us and explained that the area could be used by opening the sliding gate. There are also parking spaces outside and inside the helicopter landing area. Municipal police signs indicate 24/7 recorded video surveillance. We had a good stay.
It is always worth appreciating municipalities’ willingness to welcome camper travellers. In this case, at least one drinking-water tap at the parking spaces would be very welcome. Anyway, thank you.
