Clean but very basic. Only one toilet with a sink. 1,500 ISK per person. No showers. 1,000 ISK for electricity. Campsite belonging to the service station, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Payment in the mailbox located in the toilets.
A pleasant little campsite on a meadow with a heated toilet and washing facilities. Alternatively, there is a toilet in the shop from 10:00 to 18:00. A shower with a bath is available next door on the property for 600 ISK. Electricity costs 1,000 ISK. Payment is made in the shop to a nice lady.
At the entrance, the campsite says it is closed. Vans, cars and motorhomes set up in the meadow, so we did the same! Around 9 p.m., a charming lady confirmed that the campsite was indeed closed, but she came to collect payments or register motorhomes! I understood nothing!!!!
Those who expect nothing cannot be disappointed. Perhaps we overlooked something, but there seems to be only one toilet and a sink on site, and nothing else. Locals use it with their motorhomes. Since it is included in the CampingCard, it is also an inexpensive stopover for travelers staying briefly.
