Quiet village site, no sanitation

A beautiful place, clean, affordable, and everything you need is within walking distance. Unfortunately, there is no waste disposal.

Very nice gravel site in the middle of town, yet protected and private. Shops are about a two-minute walk away. Unfortunately, there are no showers, toilets, or waste disposal. It was a lovely place for us and our five dogs.

As described previously, everything is great, BUT you can no longer register at the kebab shop (the unfriendly man snapped this at me).

We visited the Christmas market at the open-air museum over the weekend. When we arrived on Friday, the parking area was completely empty; that changed on Saturday, when the site was designated as visitor parking. We think the €5 site fee is reasonable. However, the water is turned off during the cold season.

Dear municipality, thank you very much for this site in a town where many friendly people live and where everyone, from children to adults, greets tourists spontaneously. That is no longer something you can take for granted. We felt very welcome. A rubbish bin would be recommended. Hello to all motorhome friends: keep the site clean so that it remains available to all of us.

A site in the middle of a small town, with shops, banks, and a gravel surface, for €5 per night and €1 for electricity, with service facilities. What more could you want? We were only passing through, but we liked it.

Located in the center of town, slightly sloping, so levelling blocks are recommended. Everything you need for shopping is within walking distance. The night was quiet. €5 for one night and €1 for 24 hours of electricity—you cannot complain.

We enjoy staying here in Diesdorf with our motorhome and have everything we need. The open-air museum is within walking distance and worth seeing. You can stay here peacefully for up to seven days for €5 per 24 hours. We will return. :-)

A nice little site in the middle of town, yet quiet. There is no shade, but there is electricity and a service point. The price is now €5 per calendar day, so each overnight stay costs €10. Payment is in cash at various nearby shops. You then have to fill out a registration form with your first and last name, number plate, arrival and departure dates, etc. What a shame.

We had a quiet night. We had to use levelling blocks. There is a nice ice-cream shop, bakery, butcher, open-air museum, and even a fine leisure pool in or near the village. The toilets at the site are unfortunately locked. The site is supposed to cost €5 per day from 23 August. Thank you for the nice motorhome site.

From 23 August 2024, a site fee of €5 for 24 hours will be charged, from 10:00 to 10:00. Visitor tickets are available at four nearby shops. More information can be found on the website.

I can only agree with those who came before me and thank the municipality. Let us hope it stays this way.

Only three stars because the eight electric pitches are narrow and located in the back row, although there are another three or four possible pitches at the front without electricity. Add to that the inconsiderate people who take up two spaces, and ultimately, no matter what time you arrive, there are never any spaces! In addition, the site is quite steep; we left.

Nice motorhome site; we stayed for two nights. Everything you need is there.

According to German motorhomers, you now get 24 hours of electricity for €1. There are no restaurants here anymore, but there is a kebab shop next to the supermarket very close by. We got an excellent pizza! All service facilities and drinking water are free. The coin machine no longer works, perhaps because it was too vulnerable to break-ins? For the cassette toilet, next to the grey-water area there is a square opening under the tap with a short hose. Drinking water is two metres further on.

Really great site! Nine motorhomes stayed here tonight, and it was still extremely spacious. Electricity cost €3 for a long period, so it is still running now—16 hours so far.
