Route des Saintes Maries de la Mer, 13123, Arles
Been here?
A picnic area suited to a short lunch or roadside rest, with a table and bench beneath trees. It is close to a busy road and can be noisy during the day, making longer stays unsuitable. The grass may be high, and there are no services.

This is probably a good place for a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, at least during the day, it was noisy because it is close to a busy road. It wasn't very dirty but the grass was a bit high.
Attention, the site is close to the road and noisy. For those considering sleeping in the parking area of the Camargue Museum, it is completely forbidden and monitored by a security guard via video surveillance; you will be asked to leave.
Nicely shaded beneath large trees. Good place for a break along the way.
We spent a quiet night in the museum parking area. We were alone. In the morning we used the museum toilets.
